No it's the new protagonist.
The voice sounded unfitting. Was it supposed to be a character we know? Also urban combat is boring and overused.
I fucking love urban combat.
hmh flood at the end probably has a bigger meaning... Second half of the game takes place underwater / in a flooded city?!
Too soon?
A lot of the marketing has used 9/11 imagery, so probably not.
omg omg omg jizz
Also urban combat is boring and overused.
While I would agree a lot of shooters have urban settings, not a lot of them have urban settings BUT let you play like it's still a jungle. This game, MGS4, Deus Ex, and probably more.
In warhead you meet several other nanosuit teams. In Crysis 2 you (possibly Nomad) steal the nanosuit 2, a new version of it.
Ah, I never had a chance to play either Crysis or Crysis: Warhead, only slight glimpses of walkthroughs. But I swear they said that this is not Nomad.
Loved Crysis. Definately going to get this. Looks so fucking awesome.
If you were wondering, it was Xbox 360 gameplay.
NIN in the trailer has my money already [editline]18th December 2010[/editline]
Finally they ditched their beloved tropical settings for something new. And they did a good job with that.
uh it's new york they can't just make up new york [editline]18th December 2010[/editline] though i thought they accomplished tropical settings in the first FarCry and since it's been so beautiful that it's not boring anyway :saddowns: [editline]18th December 2010[/editline]
The system requirements are lower
so Crytek says, that doesn't really mean anything however because they also said Crysis would run well with everything but DirectX 10 stuff (High) on a 7800GTX with 2GB of RAM and a Core2Duo - and lol it didn't [editline]18th December 2010[/editline]
The voice sounded unfitting. Was it supposed to be a character we know? Also urban combat is boring and overused.
correction: linear, hall/corridor and box urban combat is boring and over used. if you've played any of Crytek's games you'd know that this won't be linear. well, the story itself will be but travel and combat won't be. even FarCry had segments where you had about 3 ways of getting to the objective [editline]18th December 2010[/editline]
I wonder if Crytek listened when critics blasted the awful story.
well it seems to only use the aliens, so i would assume so. they got shit for doing the same shit every time from FarCry to Crysis Warhead, and after seeing this trailer I'd be surprised if they used the same old "introduce new bad guys" formula
They said shifting from tropical to urban/city was harder then they thought since now they have to build unique buildings and such, in the jungle they could just copy 1 kind of tree and place it allot and nobody would notice but seeing 2 look alike skyscrapers/buildings would ruin the feeling and stuff for the game.
What? That was just a corpse.
look at the growths, more than just a corpse
I jizzed at the mech, I hope there will be some player controlable mechs. Would be awesome.
[img_thumb]http://img3.imageshack.us/img3/522/cryzombies.jpg[/img_thumb] look at the growths, more than just a corpse
So? Doesn't mean it's going to come to life.
why else would they be there in the previous games the dead people were just dead (or frozen), no growths
It looks amazing but I wish that the main enemy's were humans, I much preferred killing Koreans than aliens in the original
Isn't this game going to have the fatter nanosuit?
Hnngh, that looked sexy. Also, flooded Manhatten! And someone tore the Statue of Liberties head off and threw it into the city, Cloverfield monster confirmed for final boss.
So it wasn't the Flaming Hobo?
I wonder what that huge flood at the end was?
underwater instead of shit getting frozen? i dont know about u but that sounds kind of awesome
ffs another trailer with that song are you kidding me. Also I got a new computer when Crysis came out, I guess it's getting to be that time again.
It gives me chills when I hear it.
This looks pretty damn fun, good choice of music as well.
They still better have a damn good reason why exactly space squid ice aliens turned into bipedal mecha plasma aliens.
They still better have a damn good reason why exactly space squid ice aliens turned into bipedal mecha plasma aliens.
They still look the same, except they are red now and wear mechanical suits.
God damn, this looks awesome. Music fits really well too.
They still better have a damn good reason why exactly space squid ice aliens turned into bipedal mecha plasma aliens.
They're the thing you saw in the core level but in another exosuit, presumably cheaper to manufacture.
Time for me to finally get a job and get an Intel/Nvidia build that will last me quite some time...
http://tubedubber.com/#lOyD7SoY7LU:ZApTNqTb864:0:100:0:0:true If only the intro to the song were a little longer it would match up perfectly. :v: Also listen to it past the first 30 seconds. It's a remix.
They're the thing you saw in the core level but in another exosuit, presumably cheaper to manufacture.
I said a damn good reason.
I still haven't played Crysis yet. I think I probably should before playing this. This looks really amazing though. My Business teacher was amazed by Gamecube graphics a week or 2 ago. I can't wait to see his reaction to this.
