turkey should help... but they don't like their Arab neighbors
Recently the Syrian military was firing mortars at Turkish villages. Turkey has now said that it's pretty fucking mad about that.
Not being funny, but stick a warning in the op for the gore etc.

Vice are fucking amazing. Syrian government however, not so much.
Whoa, this is very raw reporting.
I don't want to ruin anyone's day but [sp]there's a 99 percent chance he'll die of infection.[/sp] [sp]Unless they have a crap-ton of antibiotics which I hope they do.[/sp]
Did you pull that fact out of your ass? The gut didn't appear to be torn, which is very, very lucky for the child. I could only see an open wound from what appeared to be a passing bullet, but luckily the gut was fully in-tact. The iodine should be enough to stop any infection. Infections will only occur if there's large, open wounds beneath the skin (which would allow bacteria to multiply without being stopped) and other circumstances. However, they would have stitched the wound up and cleaned it thoroughly with iodine, thus killing any potential bacteria. After the operation, as long as the stitching was kept clean, there's no high risk of infection and the child will be okay. The only thing they did was pop the intestines back in and stitch her back up. Gladly that's all that she needed. Shit like amputations, bullet wounds and all that horrible stuff, they're the ones that have a high chance of infection.

Gotta love Vice, they don't cover up reality like TV news does, and it's still professional. They also risk their lives to capture film like this. Imagine how terrifying it would be hearing bombs explode outside the building as more wounded and dead pour into the hospital, and you realize you're only here to record it, you weren't forced to live in these conditions.
I haven't seen it posted so I'll just bump this with Part 2
