The lines were tinted red and green for me at the start of the video. wtf
So how much does this actually effect you on a day-to-day basis? Like, does it make anything hard to do, or does it just make your vision more interesting?
Depending on how strong the effect is for you, it can make reading a more colourful experience, and at least for me, it turned everything white pink, and everything black had a green aura. It was trippy at first but easy to get used to.
if you want to permanently make your vision more interesting dose lsd a couple times a month for a few months can't say I'd recommend it though
If it's not working, try doing it for longer, getting closer to the screen, staring more intently, etc. If it really doesn't work, then you're impervious to mind control. I'm kinda the opposite, this was fucking up my regular vision for nearly an hour
I guess I don't need my tinfoil hat anymore, I wasn't effected at all.
The green disappeared for me but the red is still here.
Why are you guys even doing this, this seems like torture. Who wants a grid in their vision for 2+ hours.
Why are you guys even doing this, this seems like torture. Who wants a grid in their vision for 2+ hours.
you don't get a "grid in your vision". but when you look at grids, they look different colours than they actually are, and it's not that bad.
Still can see the colours faintly, but not as strong as before.
Why are you guys even doing this, this seems like torture. Who wants a grid in their vision for 2+ hours.
it's fun, you get to fuck with your own brain, sometimes irreparably so, or at least for a couple of days anyway.
Only seems to work on that image, did 2x3 minutes. that image looks pretty nice with it
if you tilt your head 45 degrees, the red ones become yellow :aaaaaa:
Didn't work at all with me... tried twice. Probably because I'm colorblind :downs:
Did this a few hours ago for about two minutes and it still is affecting my vision, I can't really notice it but when I look at the picture in the OP it is still coloured.
This morning I looked at the video for 10 minutes and right now those black and white lines look perfectly black and white. My brain won't let me have any fun.
Used the first video about 30 minutes ago and can still see the colors
I can still see the colors as well, werid shit
Wow, that's so cool

Could your brain be literally making new pathways to learn that the lines are these colors and that causes the effect? A lot of other similar illusions exploit the fact that the brain cells get "tired" and only last for a short while, something with such a long effect seems to be rooted somewhere deeper in the brain.
Did the 3 minutes Vertical lines are fine, but horizontal lines are blue-ish
if you tilt your head 45 degrees, the red ones become yellow :aaaaaa:
When I tilt my head, the become regular black and white again.
Holy Shit. I got bored after staring for a minute and suddenly realized the three horizontal bars on Chrome's menu button was green and freaked out. Turns out it was an update. :v:
The only place I notice this outside the test image is on bar codes. The red effect doesn't seem to work with them but turning them sideways causes the green effect to appear for me.
Nothing for me. The horizontal lines had a green ish tinge before I even started. I think the optical game where you get a maze burned into your retina is way cooler and way safer.
Been 24 hours; I can still faintly see the green, but the red has totally worn off.
I can still (very) faintly see both.
Only seems to work on that image, did 2x3 minutes. that image looks pretty nice with it
This image almost looks animated to me, especially when it's made smaller. It seems to be flashing a little bit or something
I was wearing a stripy shirt today and when i looked down to do my work the colours green and red were flashing in the corners of my eyes and it started to hurt [editline]8th September 2014[/editline] fuck this effect
The moment it said "reddish tint and greenish tint" I thought "Well it's not going to work then." ...and it didn't. RG-colorblindness hurray!
Aah holy shit it actually worked
