Were I live, we have a Kings Dominion, we have a ride dedicated to him, it is one of the sickest rides in the park, I think it known widely, it is called The Intimaidator, or the Black Out, because about 85% of people who rode it last year blacked out.

Found this while listening to Simple Man. Am I the only one who thinks if Dale Earnhardt used the cross seatbelts his accident could of been easily non-fatal?
Dale's death didn't really have much to do with the seat belts, it was rumored too. But it was a rumor, I believe his death had to mainly due with not using a head restraint, it was said he never liked wearing it and if he did have it it would of saved his life, it would of helped prevent the skull fracture he got from the crash. Now after his accident they really did an overhaul of safety gear and regulations.
isn't this what people watch nascar for though

Why is the front of the car missing?
The front of the car got torn of in a crash with the wall.

Is that before or after the second car slammed into him?
Couldn't help but notice if the cars were right wheel drive, some of these people would have lived.
If they were right wheel drive the race would be going in the other direction :downs:
Is that before or after the second car slammed into him?
I'm guessing after? In the second frame you can see him reaching. Last frame he's limp. I don't think they would have had enough time to snap a photo before he got hit.
and to think these accidents could have been avoided if they had made cars that could turn right

That was probably the only crash in the whole video that made me cringe a bit.

It's a stupidly dangerous sport anyway, should be stopped until it's safer.

And other people probably would have died.

Ever since Earnhardt died, the restrictions and regulations have been more strict than ever before. I've seen some bad crashes post-Earnhardt and seen them walk out without a scratch.
