Sure he can play games, but can he string a whole sentence together without it sounding like 'Oeeee! Oueeee'?
cool post OP
He belongs to the internet now...
till then he is gonna spin the camera
I wanna see this kid in 15 years after his balls drop seeing how good he is now.
This kid is gonna be a fucking genius when he grows up.
If he can beat the game at the age he's at right now, then god help us. He's gonna be able to do lots.
He may be a genius at the logical level, but he might not be at the intellectual level. Most games like portal are ones where you have to apply logic.
Fuck, all I beat when I was 3 was Donkey Kong Country and Sonic the Hedgehog 2. I wouldn't have been able to do Portal.
that is one of the cutest things ever
Im jealous.
But imagine how smart he will be at age 13...
:ohdear:
Seeing a three year old laughing at a screen that shows people getting shot is something I find a little
unsetteling. At that age, you cant put things like that in proper context. I mean, if you grow up seeing
murder at a young age, I don't know. I was first allowed to playi 'violent' games at the age of 10 and I
know that I wouldn't have understood it any earlier, but at three... Jeez, that's way too young. I want my
kids to slowly learn all about life bit by bit like I did, and not start with the most gruesome parts of it.
I mean, many of you might not understand my point, but in that age when you have to worry about a family
not just yourself and your computer, you start to see things differendly. And 'gun + person = success' is not
a thing I teach a toddler and feel good about. Some of the more dense people might say that there is a clear differene between games and reallity, bit we are talking toddlers minds here.
I can assure you that this is real and not fake.
Mirrors Edge uses weird systems to control shit, just ignore it and let it be.
finley, what a badass name.

I started playing games when I was 4, and I always played Mortal Kombat II on my family's snes. I don't know about you, but I never thought about the violence, I only remember how much fun I had kicking my brother's asses in it. And humiliating them with a fatality.
Then I started playing 1.6 when I was 7, and I remember my older brother having to defend me because apparently, I'm a 'hacker'.
I played through LoZ:ALttP before I knew how to read :c

Hence also before I knew english
Very hand eye co-ordinated. Good future unless he doesn't spoil it.
I didn't think his fingers would reach all the necessary keys for Mirror's Edge, gladly i was proven wrong. This guy is a bro and I would be honored to have him as a brother.
I bet he couldn't play nightmare house like my niece.
I got her to play portal once though. Things didn't turn out good.

Concerned soccer mom convention is that way pal
Oh man, I played Q2 when I was around 3, and hella enjoyed it.
This video makes me happy that I'm upgrading my computer soon.
I will name my son Finley in honor of this kid.
I honestly don't think it's very healthy for a child to be playing games like these, who knows this could have some negative effects on his brain in the future.

At the age of 3 I was shooting Nazi's and at the age of 5 I was killing demons with chainsaws. At 6 I was giving strippers dollar bills then kicking them to death.
I turned out fine. I think.
You're right though, kind of. Some kids may react differently to certain types of stimulation. If you have a well grounded kid then I honestly believe there's nothing to worry about. If you have a very influential kid then maybe it's best to stick to Reader Rabbit.
Meh, I'm better
:smug:
People are breeding gamers these days. :D
He's better at mirror's edge than me.
Right on!
Learning how Portals work at such a young age seems like good brain development.
Honestly I don't see what's to be worked up about if he shoots someone in a videogame. He's 3 years old, he doesn't understand the concept of death. He's shooting 'bad guys' anyway, tell him that's the only time he'd be able to do it in life.
When I was three, I never knew video games existed.
