Well it would be nice if they could fire it at least a couple of times without needing a new barrel. Since the flames you see in the video are actually plasma I believe. Since it's shooting the "bullet" out at around 5,400 mph. The bonus of having something that moves that fucking fast is no need for rifling or explosives. On the old 2008 one they thought they could hit something up to 200 miles away. Firing at a rate of 10 rounds per minute.
