segways brah, some scary shit
"I identify as a wolf, THAT'S WHY I HAVE TO WEAR A COLLAR" It's like these otherkin people identify as animals which they have no behavioral knowledge of. "I'm like totally a cat. That's why I gotta wear fake cat-ears. I'm also vegan."
EXCuse me but being a dragon i can confirm that i have copious amounts of gold and women [editline]21st July 2014[/editline] im also triggered by figures of authority, like knights,
EXCuse me but being a dragon i can confirm that i have copious amounts of gold and women [editline]21st July 2014[/editline] im also triggered by figures of authority like knights
wow a Dragon is exactly like a gangster rapper AND/OR A PIRATE!
Also, does anyone know the source for this video? As in the actual interview itself, not the Windows Movie Maker annotations, it looks like it's a part of a larger video.
I can't remember the exact name, but it's from a documentary and I think it was Australian. They show it on SBS from time to time.
Acting like a wolf has potential to be pretty metal but then these people just ruin it.
Acting like a wolf has potential to be pretty metal but then these people just ruin it.
Wolves spin around in circles and seldom eat meat.
I cringed so hard that my spine turned into jelly and now I'm a worm
Acting like a wolf has potential to be pretty metal but then these people just ruin it.
there are actually biologists or zoologists or whatever they're called who do go out to live with wolves and assimilate in to their culture these people however don't want to leave their cushty, middle class, suburban lives and instead just want to say they're a wolf on the inside so they can get a false sense of community and victimize themselves at every possible opportunity
If these weirdos really are animals inside then what the fuck are they doing on the internet
If these weirdos really are animals inside then what the fuck are they doing on the internet
on the internet nobody knows you're a dog unless you're otherkin then you proceed to tell everybody
My soul accidentally took human form. In my last life I was a blue eyes white dragon
Last time I checked, real wolves didn't have Tumblr blogs
You know it would be pretty badass though if you could experience being one of these commonly chosen animals. Like being a hawk and being able to fly wherever the hell you want would be sick, same with being a dolphin. Still though, some of these people take it a bit far. I can understand identifying with the "essence" of an animal (like a hawk or dolphins freedom, or the wolf belonging to a pack) but jesus christ tumblr circlejerks with triggers and hating everyone else and taking it way too seriously are weird.
Tumblr's basically the place where white middle class teen girls can get together and try to figure out something that sets them apart. they have no real reason to feel oppressed so they just try to find something that can alienate them from people close to them and simultaneously identify with another group so they can all be oppressed together and be special snowflakes. it's kind of sad but also understandable, in a weird way.
Tumblr is what you want it to be, if you want to follow said dumb middle class teen girls then go ahead. Or you can follow people who you like and there's no problem since its a blog site and not a forum (which points out how many FP users are just ignorant on the subject).

However like most sites the most extreme/idiotic folks get labeled as the sites posterchildren. Labeling tumblr as a SJW only wankfest is like generalizing all of 4chan based on /b/ alone, or generalizing facepunch based on the OIFY.
shit guys i think im a coralkin [editline]22nd July 2014[/editline] i sit in one place all day eating whatever garbage gets close to me and stick my dick in everything i can without really paying attention, if that isnt a coral then i dont know what it is
THank god tumblr is a controlled medium. But it is hard to follow blogs who don't post anything relating to sjw things. At least, I've tried to follow over 700 blogs and still can't get a break
otherkin are like the bronies of the gender identity club on tumblr like, who even likes them. they suck.
otherkin are like the bronies of the gender identity club on tumblr like, who even likes them. they suck.
milkandcooki expressing hate toward an "oppressed" minority? I'm pretty sure this means that some pig-otherkin somewhere are flying.
let me elaborate on my joke-analogy. also big post because i'm assuming a lot of people want to know what i have to say in a thread about tumblr, ironically or not. like, genderqueer people have actual validity because gender dysphoria is a real thing that real science and real smart dudes have confirmed. species dysphoria isn't a real thing, so otherkin are like... the big outlier dorks. there's no way a human being can not feel comfortable being the wrong species unless they have a gigantic fuckload of disorders that have little or nothing to do with more typical dysphoria*. don't quote me on that tho, because i don't know that much about the human brain. having a fictional animal character/fursona/OC/whatever is perfectly okay, though. in a purely online space or in an area where you're around people of the same group like a convention or something, i think it's alright to identify as something fictional, but i think the line should be drawn when it comes to day to day life. like, damn, dude, if you really want me to talk to you online like you're a dog or whatever i'm down for that, just don't expect me to do that in public. there's also the issue of otherkin undermining the struggle that people with actual dysphoria experience on a daily basis, too. *this dude said what i'm struggling to say the best if you ask me. http://drtanner.tumblr.com/post/92158966505 there's autoplay on that blog so watch out if you've got your volume way up. [editline]22nd July 2014[/editline]
milkandcooki expressing hate toward an "oppressed" minority? I'm pretty sure this means that some pig-otherkin somewhere are flying.
i've never ever said that i support otherkin people because it's not a real thing. otherkin are a real minority in the same way that dragon age origins fans are real minorities: not at all. i'm down with furries, though, so that might be where that speculation's coming from. furries aren't always otherkin, but otherkin are probably furries. like, hardcore furries. this is where my brony analogy comes from; they're the supreme ultra dorks that the normal dorks shudder at. [editline]22nd July 2014[/editline] like, yo, i'm usually on the side of people who get upset online, especially if stuff that sets them off is easily avoidable. i'm always willing to tag shit if somebody who follows me on sites doesn't like certain things i post, i'm always down to use different pronouns, and i'm always okay with refraining from using certain words in my vocabulary. but otherkin? planet...kin? people with crazy ultra specific phobias? that's right around where i draw the line. if you legitimately are upset at the very mention of like... rubber bands, hands, grass that is slightly yellowing, the color green, photoshopped pictures of keanu reaves... you can't seriously expect strangers on the internet to constantly monitor their posts just for you. at that point you really have to step in and find ways to filter stuff on your own and not just expect hundreds of thousands of people to label each avengers gif set they reblog with hundreds of tags.
Why is this laughed at but transgender somehow reflects a more authentic acount of a person's inner self?
Why is this laughed at but transgender somehow reflects a more authentic acount of a person's inner self?
Because being transgender is actually possible. There's neurological evidence to suggest that people who're transsexual actually do have brains that function more in line with the gender they identify as rather than the sex they're born with. Whereas it's impossible for a human to have an animal's brain, especially if said animal doesn't exist.
I should probably clarify and say that doesn't mean im anti-TG, no more than I would ban these people from prancing around with dog collars on. I just think both are somewhat disillusioned about their psyche/selves.
Also I'm not sure you used disillusioned correctly, memory serving it's supposed to mean having lost an illusion.

Are you saying that people who occupy the same gender scripts have a unique and revealing, I suppose, "neurological mapping?" I.e: all chefs have similar mappings? 2.) Are you saying males have a similar mapping and that people who identify as TG might have a female "sex" but a male mapping? Can you show me this neurological evidence? What is it even messuring? [editline]23rd July 2014[/editline] https://medium.com/the-nib/orientation-police-fccd8118b6f9 Food for thought
seriously, why does this exist why the fuck do you think you're some wolf/dog hybrid you're a human if you had trouble fitting in, maybe that's because of your fucked up thoughts and not "society forcing you to act in a certain way" tumblr recently has been a bitch fest about "respect my feeling because I deserve them" earn respect you fucking spergs, don't act like you deserve respect
[t]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BtDN9hkCYAA4hgT.png[/t] I stared into the abyss and it stared back at me.
"Marvel's Galactus" Bet she'd LOVE my second monitor's wallpaper [t]http://wallpaperpanda.com/wallpapers/R5T/j5d/R5Tj5dxi8.jpg[/t] Tempted to spam her with it [editline]wat[/editline] Hang on wait "The Metric System" "The Metric System" fucking what "Galactic Cannibalism" What even is this one
i am a videogame my triggers include high scores and hex editing
What about Cheat Engine?
scanning memory is fine just dont fuckin hex edit god dammit you bigot
What pronouns should we use?
seriously, why does this exist why the fuck do you think you're some wolf/dog hybrid you're a human if you had trouble fitting in, maybe that's because of your fucked up thoughts and not "society forcing you to act in a certain way"
There're people who took "gender roles are a social construct" and ran with it. Now everything for them is a social construct and therefore, doesn't exist. Gender, sex, species, identity, sanity, mental health (neurotypical/neuroatypical, right), fitness etc.
All the mentions of snowflakes make me wonder if anyone identifies as a snowflake. Or do they melt before they can make a blog about it?
I made fanart, someone send it or something http://i.imgur.com/y66JK0h.jpg
This is the greatest thing I've ever seen on this site
