yeah your battery-powered plastic gun could have seriously injured you or even caused you death
Could have fucked up one of his eyes though.
yeah your battery-powered plastic gun could have seriously injured you or even caused you death
Considering what you're eyes are made of, yes. Not to mention one of them is gas. Do me a favor and take a good gas airsoft pistol, and shoot an unshelled hardboiled egg; that's your eye.
What the fuck why would you use teargas Its a fucking game
And why would they have tear gas in the first case when everyone would have masks on, and be expecting it. Rendering the whole concept pointless.
Tear Gas isn't relevant to Airsoft. Unless they gas was composed of incinerated Airsoft pellets.
They Tear Gassed us at basic... it was fucking horrible
Does anyone know if they make airsoft guns that use caps instead of compressed air? I think they call them hybrid guns.
this seems like a bad idea, and a waste of money
Throw it into an enemy position. It's more effective then a flashbang and lasts longer. (User was banned for this post ("Trolling or dumb" - verynicelady))
I can just imagine seeing a news headline reading "MAN ARRESTED AFTER USING FLASHBANG AT AIRSOFT MATCH. 3 PEOPLE PERMANENTLY DEAF."
The idea is to make the game as realistic as possible WITHOUT actually hurting anyone. We will bring in military vehicles, helicopters, even explosives simulators. But nothing that would actually cause damage to a player. Its supposed to be fun.
This is why I want to try airsoft so bad.
What? That would be a horrible idea.
This is why I want to try airsoft so bad.
Just find a field man, most will let you rent gear from them. Sadly for me, there are no fields where i live so i'm just a collector i guess you could say. I only have 2 actual airsoft guns.
I just came in to confirm that the filters of the gasmask are inside the cheeks. It's a copy off an American design. Also, he probably didn't have it on correctly or tight enough so the gas got in.
vehicles, helicopters and explosives? really? for little balls of plastic? isn't that like getting a $1000 tank for a goldfish?
There's several stages of what people find fun, progressively getting more awesome. 1. Playing shooter video games (ie. Call of Duty) 2. Going outside and shooting at eachother 3. Getting into organized airsoft/paintball matches, sometimes with hundreds of other people 4. Fighting in real life, along side hundreds of other people while helicopters are orbiting above and tank support is treading around below.
Ever play paintball before? It hurts like hell.
Weakling.
WHY, would you do that?
omg its like black ops nova 6 gas lolololollol XD btw, that idiot forgot to put a filter in his gas mask.
That's like playing a water fight with a kettle full of boiling water
hahaha you play a sport to inflict pain on other people you're so fucking retarded
You really dont know the competetive aspect of paintball. maybe you should go back to your war simulation.
Haha that was hilarious. Why would they even do that. I loved the guy in the gasmask laughing at him. Reminded me of the Pyro.
So how do you know you've been hit by a small plastic pellet, if you're wearing a jacket.
Thats what i wonder too. Sure they all yat about the "honor" code etc. There are still people that doesn't give 2 shits about it.
You know you've been hit because even if you don't feel it you will hear it. Also marshals can and will ban people who dishonour hits from ever playing on that particular site again. [editline]16th December 2010[/editline] I don't think you would usually get hit in the body anyway, unless you were standing up in a clearing, and if it came from the front you'd probably see it hit you as well. Generally people get hit in the limbs and head, as they often poke out of cover.
the 1 with the gasmast sounds like the pyro of teamfortress ^^*
That wasn't expected.
Thats what i wonder too. You weed out the dickhead masochists, only play with people who don't want you to scream in agony. We actually have rules (my group of airsoft buddies) pertaining to the maximum FPS of guns, because we just went through an arms race to get high muzzle velocities, only to discover the game is a hundred times less fun when you're getting hit by automatic fire that brings you to your knees in pain.

Expect for springer sniper rifles which are allowed to go up to 400-500 FPS since they're supposed to be longer range.
these kinds of airsofters are ridiculous. do paintballers even go to this level of extreme?
We take it about the the same heights as airsoft, but any dumbshit who would even consider using any sort of chemical weapon in either sport needs to be legally banned from it.
You really dont know the competetive aspect of paintball. maybe you should go back to your war simulation.
I wasnt bashing paintball at all there, you misunderstood. I was saying that if the reason you play paintball is to hurt people, you're fucking retarded. I fully acknowledge and understand that paintball is just a more competitive, sport-like, wargame with less of a focus on realism. I dont understand why paintballers and airsofts just cant get along. We seriously argue over which variety of toy gun is better to shoot each other with FFS :v:
So how do you know you've been hit by a small plastic pellet, if you're wearing a jacket.
Those plastic pellets are traveling 400 feet per second. You'll feel it. [editline]16th December 2010[/editline]
Thats what i wonder too. Sure they all yat about the "honor" code etc. There are still people that doesn't give 2 shits about it.
Yeah, it happens. It depends though, on your type of gameplay. Some people like to sit behind a crate and snipe away at people, others, like me, like to pull out my pistol and run around trying to get behind people. Since I use my pistol, I have limited mag capacity. That means I don't spray bb's everywhere, I only take a shot when I'm pretty sure I'll get a hit. That means I have a near perfect shot on them. Usually when I get a good shot I only fire once. After it hits them, I wait, if they call themselves out, good for me. If they don't, I unload half my magazine in their back. Shit hurts yo.
