because they're completely different? both cigarettes and alcohol are already legal, cost a lot less and affect you in a much different way than weed?
i mean, everything from the prices of weed to its effects or even the way it's consumed encourages people to buy and/or smoke it together, and the fact that it's illegal only contributes to it, either because it's "cool" to do stuff you're not supposed to do or simply because there's always gonna be a push for legalization due to the sheer number of people who smoke it. i'm not justifying the culture that exists but it's not hard to see why it's there

Lol this is the shit people were talking about on the previous page. There is a MUCH more massive sort of obnoxious "lifestyle" around alcohol than there is with weed. The most you get with weed is an annoying kid or some ridiculously dressed fool on a bus listening to loud music who thinks he lives the rhasta life. There is so much bullshit masculine culture and rowdyness around alcohol that has been ingrained into society for hundreds of years. Don't drink? You're obviously not a real man. Drink something I don't like? You have shit taste. Don't drink something as strong as me? You're a big pussy who can't handle anything. Not to mention drunk assholes in the streets or wherever else being giant dicks and disrupting stuff. You don't get that with weed.
And IMO most of the alcohol I've smelled has been fucking foul and reeks more than weed. Only bourbon and whiskey actually has a nice aroma.
P.S. I don't smoke or drink so fuck any bias you think I have.
Both sides can be annoying as all hell, but lately the weed preachers are getting very fucking annoying.

No that's disgusting, both smokes and weed smell like utter shite. I've lived with a tobacco smoker, and I can tell you first hand that I'd rather have the awful smell of that crap than the combined shit-fest that is both the smell and whatever fucking substance you use to 'mask' that shit.
Also if you got armpit smell and instead of cleaning/bathing you cover that you're not really doing a good joob at smelling decently.
