The people or the zombies?
Wait, what's the difference?! Ho Ho!
Holy shit zombies aren't real and an invention of science fiction and pseudo science?! I guess those fun little books are shit now!
It's a joke mate..
It's a joke mate..
You'd be surprised how many people miss the point of the book and call it gay because it uses pseudo science. It stopped being funny for me a while ago.
I'm 80% sure that plane scene was just him dreaming, watch again and notice how he awakens and everything seems... off.
Oh my god, I already thought the book was a complete idiot plot, but this takes it to a whole new level
Yeah guys, take the helicopter low enough so zombies can board you, dumbasses
2 things I gotta say about this:
1) In a perfect world this would've been adapted into an HBO miniseries or something, maybe an episode every chapter
2) I'm not shitting on him as an actor because I've enjoyed many of his performances over the years but at this point Brad Pitt is overexposed as fuck and so he kinda kills any immersion for me, it just looks like Brad Pitt playing a role in a big dumb blockbuster

How else are you supposed to, you know, pick up survivors?
If you're talking about the rooftop scene.

Also, isnt the book about a guy interviewing people who went through the events?

Producer: Hey guys I got a fuckin ace idea, let's blow a large portion of our already meager CGI budget on a DREAM SEQUENCE! Cuz you know, plot and character development and stuff! People eat that shit up right?
Producer 2: (Wipes coke off his nose) BRILLIANT!
Max Brooks: (Weeps)
*wuuuuuuuuuub**brrrmmm* In 90 days, mankind will cease to exist *brrrrrrrrrrrrmmmmmmm**generic orchestral music* and only one man can stop them *brrrrrrrrmmmmmmmm brrrrrrrrmmmmmmmmm brrrrrrrmmmmmmmm*
It's so sad how all this turned out.

Yeah, he travels the globe and interviews people who either oversaw, or were part of key events in the War, it's quite a unique perspective.
Also, fun trivia time: Despite being the director of Quantum of Solace, Marc Forster was chosen as the director by Brad Pitt.
Forster fucked up so bad Pitt stopped talking to him, even on the set of WWZ, according to rumors from the crew.
Trivia time? Max Brooks is the son of Mel Brooks
Zombies on a plane.
Making a World War Z movie PG-13 was their first mistake.
What
A zombie movie PG-13?
Are the human characters going to die by fatigue?
Is this about zombies?
It looks like it's about crazy parkourers..
This movie wouldn't be that shitty if they just changed the name.
It wouldn't gather the rage of people who read the books but it would still be shite.
It's trying to emulate 28 days later but without the novelty of it, also 11 years too late.
Why the hell did part of the plane explode?
Yeah, he travels the globe and interviews people who either oversaw, or were part of key events in the War, it's quite a unique perspective.
What if at the end of the movie, after its all said and done, it cuts to the end of an interview.
Sure, from what ive heard of the book and seen of this movie they're nothing alike, but hey, there'd be atleast one connection :v:
those zombies look like shit

From what it seems is that what we are getting is Brad Pitt going around the globe run over by zombies for some plot-convenient thingamajic.
Can't believe I almost forgot the Day after Tomorrow's zombie spinoff was still a thing.

Well you've got the zombie part covered right there :v:
