Journalists got what they deserved, the news that his cookie was good.
I don't care what problem they were talking about, this man is a good man in my eyes.
Haha i love in alberta and thats awesome!
I saw this on the news earlier. I think he's been getting a lot of flak for some poor decisions he's made for the health care system, and blowing of legitimate questions (Whose answers are sought after not only by the media, but by people dealing with the health care system right now) in such a smug, childish way isn't helping his reputation.

I think they can wait 30 minutes. Also, the way he says cookie makes me laugh.
This guy gets pro-status, whoever he is. I think it's hilarious, I hope to see other figures annoyed by the media doing this.
I have no idea who this guy is but I don't blame him for not wanting the media harassing him. If I was important enough to have the press hunting me down I'd be pretty annoyed too. Can't a guy go about his business without being bothered? Or in this case, eat his cookie!?
Didn't you hear....I'm eating my cookie! This could easily catch on..
fantastic idea we can start the political Cookie party. never answer questions, always eat a cookie edit infact lets give the media cookies so they can't ask anything, too busy eating

This is just smug, and, quite frankly, something a child would do.
He has a point. They will get their answers in 30 minutes when it's the appropriate time. The media is basically bothering him on his own time, just because they want answers early doesn't mean he has to give them.
Yeah, I agree, the reporters were in the wrong here, but that doesn't make what he did any less arrogant.
Yeah, I agree, the reporters were in the wrong here, but that doesn't make what he did any less arrogant.
The press hounding him like they did wasn't arrogant in itself? I see the point you're trying to make, but after he told them he had a press conference in 30 minutes they wouldn't stop asking him. Personally I thought it was a more light-hearted way to tell them that he wasn't answering any questions, and the reporters were really just being vultures about it. At the end of the day he is a human and he just wanted to get to where he was going in peace.
He's got kind of a lucky charms leprechaun voice when he says "I'm eating a cookie" lol
If I was a journalist I'd be tempted to grab the cookie, throw it on the ground, stomp on it, and say "Now you can answer the FUCKING QUESTIONS".
Good thing you aren't a journalist then.
Good thing you aren't a journalist then.
Even if he was a journalist he wouldn't be one for long with that attitude. This isn't the States, in Canada we have fun and eat cookies!
Then he should have told them he wasn't answering any questions, like a professional should. This is just smug, and, quite frankly, something a child would do.
Bitch don't disrespect the cookie.
I want a cookie...
I want a cookie...
No.
No.
i want you mr cookie
No.
Mr. Cookie I heard Canadian Cookies get Stale Fast! Is that True?!
I was waiting for him to grab a second cookie from his bag. He sure knows how to savor a cookie for over 2 minutes.
Too many questions. Too little cookie.
Yeah he started savouring it near the end
My hero.
Mr. Cookie I heard Canadian Cookies get Stale Fast! Is that True?!
No I'm too young to die.
No I'm too young to die.
You are never to young to die, even if you are a cookie. [editline]23rd November 2010[/editline] 555 post! :D
If she were more quick witted she'd have taken the cookie when he flashed it in her face and took it as an offering, eat it and proceed to ask questions. He probably had a back up cookie though.
