Yeah, the only way he could have drowned is if he put his head under and a current took him or he started flailing and he went under the ice. I still feel bad for the kid, it's not like I wanted it to happen. It was just funny at the start and then when we noticed he couldn't get out we actually were being mature about it and not immature like we were at first.

The one on the left was fat, the other one was pretty thin.

The main issue is him getting lost under the ice. Sure the kid can break it on top but if he loses the hole he made originally I doubt he's going to be able to break that ice and get back up for air.

You let a overweight person go jump on thin ice as a practical joke, and then sat and laughed as he fell into the pond. And honestly, I'm surprised he didn't drown to death. He's overweight as you say and he's wearing layers of soaked clothing. He could have easily died. And honestly, what if he did?
