i heard about your mum's skydiving accident but didn't think it was this bad
was not expecting that, 10/10 joke
Cthulu is in the ocean though. We actually know the exact coordinates of where Cthulhu is supposed to come out of.
it was a joke
This is some freaky shit. It looks like, really precise. Like something you'd see a drill make. Or some kind of giant orbital laser cannon.
Guaranty you don't hear about this on the news... something will be covered up.
Well this is what sinkholes tend to look like
Oh right, I remember that picture. Does anyone know how it look nowadays? :v:
what if it was a giant orbital laser cannon... from inside the earth!!!!!!?
Wouldn't be an orbital cannon then, would it?
i bet an infinite amount of money that, sometime in the future, this event will be used as the basis for a movie, saying it was "covered up" or whatever
I watched it without sound at first and honestly thought it was just a hole in a backyard.
It might just be a regular sinkhole and the flow of air from collapsing soil blew some soil outwards making it look like a crater. Otherwise maybe a regular sink hole was formed, which filled up with natural gas, and something might have sparked it. These explanations are much more likely than stuff like "buried explosive" or "meteorite".
i am more partial on "giant unknown cryptid" or "secret experiment gone wrong"
Oh right, I remember that picture. The pressure build-up eventually erupts out of the surface through a weak spot (which may have been a sinkhole in the making). The area used to be a sea some ten+ thousand years ago

The World Maggot has escaped. The death of Oderus Urungus caused it's premature birth and the slaves will never get to space now.
This is the perfect set-up for a movie:
Isn't it just a sinkhole? Water that could freely flow underneath the surface carved out a section so large that the upper layer of soil collapsed inside of it.
It was probably gas escaping. The ground didn't fall in, it was pushed out. Pressure does all kinds of weird and cool shit
Oh shit Majula is real
Okay.. This is no good.
Is there any more footage of pictures of this thing? The way it is filmed to me looks like something you would do in post. For some reason it looks a motion tracked on the the movement of the camera zoom looks very unnatural, almost like it is keyframed, just a personal opinion.
I hope we get footage of people descending into it. How awesome would it be to just... walk around... inside a part of the earth that hasn't seen day in possibl millions of years, if ever, but had organic compounds trapped within it the whole time
id love to make that a ball pit
Shit guys, it's the Great Chasm from Bravely Default! A great darkness is coming! [sp]Look for a pillar of light just northwest of Burke Island! Stop the Vestal from reaching it![/sp]
Kaiju movie viral hype. I'm gonna guess trapped gas that ignited.

Damn Ukranians stealing big, perfectly circular chunks of our land! Time to invade! (joking dont start ww3)
