What else are you expecting?
Much simpler times.
I hate how these kinds of videos all seem to have the Inception soundtrack on them.
not worth it
uh well germany winning still implies that WWII occurred....meaning that those technological advancements would have still taken place???? just the victor would have been different. although i'm certain the USA would never let the history books define a war involving them as a loss
Much simpler times.
Yeah, only 2 world wars ahead.
I do believe that overall the world has become a better place to live for a lot of people, and I don't want to express nostalgia for an age that I haven't lived in - but by the gods did it look pretty.
It's pretty funny to see police officers walking around with swords hanging off their belts.
It's pretty funny to see police officers walking around with swords hanging off their belts.
The taser of the 19th/early 20th century. The police looked really awesome back then with those swords and their helmets and uniforms covered in buttons.
but then who knows where we'd be now. world war 2 forced a lot of technological advancement like RADAR, the jet engine, radio technology, the motherfucking computer, and, of course, the nuclear bomb, which in turn fueled the cold war.... which in turn gives us the space race and NASA and every incredible accomplishment and advancement that came with it
I'd argue that the Cold War had already began pretty much after Red October. It would have happened without World War II and probably without World War I, although the German's sending Lenin back to Russia certainly helped speed it along. If Germany survived as a superpower state perhaps all those things could have been accomplished still and without the deaths of 60 Million People (not to mention Cold War casualties). But, we will never know for sure. That is the mystery of speculating history. The only path we can view and base our judgement on is our own, so who knows.
