I think the torch should only be lit from an olympic flame.
The entire "Olympic torch" becomes just a "torch" and the "Olympic flame" in it becomes just a "flame" if you light it with a lighter.
It looks like not even torches can survive the Russian weather.
Well it seems like nothing in Russia is allowed to be a flamer.
