I don't particularly love what he's done, nor do I hate it, but Politics have become so polarized in America, I think a lot of his ambition has just been continually shot down so he hasn't necessarily been able to pull through on all his promises. I do think he is one of the most down to earth presidents.
Also let's examine where Bush got us. Fucked. Look where we are now with Obama compared to at the beginning of his term. We are better off. And imagine where we'd be with Mccain and Palin in office. Thank god for that.
Obama's not the greatest but the stimulus did work for the most part and we are recovering from the recession and things are indeed better off. People just had unrealistic expectations of what Obama would do.

I honestly don't see why obama has all this hate against him... I mean he's been pretty middle of the road for a lot of his presidency, trying to involve both sides. Maybe this campaign of "he's not so bad you're over reacting" will work...
