Yeah I think his point was dulled by his vocabulary and maturity, but the point was strong to begin with, plus thats kinda just his style. [editline]26th May 2011[/editline] By maturity I mean immaturity.
This is ridiculous. What he's saying is mostly lunacy. Also: Swearing helps bring my point across.
Does it make his argument any less original? How many times have we heard some guy telling us (or writing) about the military-industrial complex and how America fights wars for profit? Personally I'd give him more credit if it was someone with actual credentials telling us this.
So if some nobody told the truth, but some famous figure told a lie, would you be more inclined to believe the famous figure then? :colbert:
So if some nobody told the truth, but some famous figure told a lie, would you be more inclined to believe the famous figure then? :colbert:
If he gave evidence that could be verified by others and didn't come across as a raving lunatic, then definitely.
the way he speaks just annoys me
You know how fucking hard it would be to have everyone vote on every single problem. One thing we could do is make a deep split separating government and religion and corporations. Interesting driven by corporations are fucking us over and the religious infect and deface the government. One thing we could do is make a drive for more socialized programs, tax higher, and ban tax cuts, slash the military budget, and weed out the corrupt politicians. That won't ever happen.
It kind of seems to me like there are a bunch of fallacies in the 'american war business'. If it's so profitable, why are we 14 trillion in debt with all of our money going to the war? I wish I just without doubt knew why we are at war, if it's really to help liberate countries or whatever, or if it's because we've dug ourselves into something we can't just dig ourselves out of, or if Mr. 'Corrupt America' over there is right in that we did it soley for the money, which I have trouble believing.
To all the people talking about his use of naughty words: 1) Grow the fuck up. It's grownup language, get used to it 2) This video is made up of snippets from his podcast, I don't believe it's one long speech of his. Some of these things may have been debates on his podcast in which he got angry and decided to flavor his speech Also it's late
Wait so Politicians are actually corrupt as fuck WHO WOULD HAVE GUESSED
This guy has alot of good points but the ending with the whole 9/11 thing being a conspiracy kinda ruined it a bit for me
To all the people talking about his use of naughty words: 1) Grow the fuck up. It's grownup language, get used to it
I absofuckinglutely agree with you
It kind of seems to me like there are a bunch of fallacies in the 'american war business'. He means it's to make money for certain businesses which will benefit the politicians and their friends in high places more than making money for the country itself
the way he speaks just annoys me
Then stop listening to the way he speaks and listen to his point. someone could come to you speaking the meaning of life in latin and you wouldn't care since thats the way he speaks and you would be worse off since you rejected his speech from the get go. Exaggerated example, but still applies.
My god that 9/11 ending ruined it
This ought to be good, Joe Rogan always has good rants:
Damn I want some of that DMT now.
I can't disagree.
Part of the reason why it would be so difficult to implement a system that allowed equal input into decisions that effect them would be that people aren't really equal at all. Some people have louder voices than others.
Why do people keep complaining about the ending? All he said is that he thought it's fishy looking, and nothing more really.
Then stop listening to the way he speaks and listen to his point. someone could come to you speaking the meaning of life in latin and you wouldn't care since thats the way he speaks and you would be worse off since you rejected his speech from the get go. joe rogan is so damn good at this shit, i think that if he wanted me to believe in pink flying elephant-fairies, he could make me believe in them.
Joe Rogan is a more pleasant version of George Carlin, imo.
George Carlin speaks the truth as it is [editline]26th May 2011[/editline]
joe rogan is so damn good at this shit, i think that if he wanted me to believe in pink flying elephant-fairies, he could make me believe in them.
And that's the kind of dumb mentality that the OP video was talking about
Because he sounds like a wimpy butthurt faggot and I can't take him seriously
"i think he sounds like a faggot," basically you are what's wrong with my country's youth.
"i think he sounds like a faggot," basically you are what's wrong with my country's youth.
implying i'm part of your country's youth
Now that it's brought up, I wonder what if it might actually help the country if people voted directly on things. Just shooting the shit here, but maybe forcing everyday people to make decisions on these kinds of things will educate them on how government is run, force them to read, think, learn the jargon and not just allow them to leave their trust in the hands of an elected representative.
lol that video was kinda.. stupid he's blaming it all on America, when the whole world is ran the same way pretty much. but the video had some good points yeah.. though i'd laugh if nothing is changed by the year 3000, with America.. Europe.. Asia.. and all the countries with all their own rights and blabla fucking bla.
This is not only with America, might I remind you about this little thing called the 'crusades'.
Some of the things doesn't make sense that hes pointing out or using for an argument. Like we are taking advantage of Afghanistan's opium/drugs or there new 1trillion $ mineral deposits; which last time I checked India and China where going to tap. Unless hes into that whole NWO thing
While talking about dumb, impressionable idiots there was an obvious amount of audience manipulation going on. Video starts off pretty slow and relatively calm with widely held ideas and as it progresses the things he's saying are getting more extreme and music is intensifying and the images are getting more distorted/alarming/flashing on and off more often. Pretty much right up until the Eisenhower speech. And even that had some 'distortion'. Clever. He makes some good points though.
implying i'm part of your country's youth
Oh, great. So you're above the age of 16 and you still sound as dumb as a 13 year old?
Oh, great. So you're above the age of 16 and you still sound as dumb as a 13 year old?
This guy does too. The fact that these are snippets from his podcast and he was arguing with others and therefore got a little angry, doesn't excuse him swearing so much. Have you seen BlackBusterCritic argue live? He hardly ever swears during live arguments.
Completely agree with this video. I'd say that the public should get to vote on issues like this more often, but in the UK we just held a voting referendum to do just that, and 70% of the population voted against it. We deserve everything we get. As long as we've got homes, clothes, food and sex we don't give a shit about the injustices around us. Such is human nature.
Oh, great. So you're above the age of 16 and you still sound as dumb as a 13 year old?
oh i'm so sorry your angst idol is found annoying by me, thus automatically making me immature
oh i'm so sorry your angst idol is found annoying by me, thus automatically making me immature
It's not that you hate him. It's what you said you hate him for.
Because he sounds like a wimpy butthurt faggot and I can't take him seriously
This is immature. Again, it worries me that someone could be this stupid and not 13. -
This guy does too. They're just words, and they by no means make the argument more or less credible, but if you're really too bitchy and dense I guess they could.
