Apparently Canada and the US are a lot tamer in terms of racism when compared to European countries. I haven't been to Europe yet so I can't verify it though, but one of my professors was surprised when he visited Germany for a conference on multiculturalism. I mean I guess I shouldn't be considering how seemingly most European facepunchers have an avid hatred of gypsies and how easily they'll jump on the Arab hate bandwagon.
liberal paradise (whites only) god bless scandinavia
the peopl on th Bus are just pathetic
Wow I always thought that Australians would be nice. :v: I live in the south, Oklahoma, and I really haven't even heard anybody being legitimately racist.
yes because the video represents all australians
Oh it happened in Frankston, that explains everything.
I can barely understand what they're saying
and people wonder why I carry
yes because the video represents all australians
When shit like this gets out and no one does anything about it, people are going to assume this is the norm.
I live in the USA and racism is incredibly prevalent here. We have a lot of immigrants from the south; particularly those guys who wear the confederate flag proudly and think the south will rise again sort of bullshit. However, I've never seen someone physically or verbally abused in public because of their skin color or ethnicity.
Only racist people I've seen here in the south are the kids in my class who never got a grade higher than a D.

Fuckin bogans aye
Living near Ipswich I can say that these people are off their rockers and if they did it in any other place they would be keeping their mouths shut. I know racism is a big thing in Australia but thats if its a joke, and if they played at as a joke they would've had a laugh and got over it; however these people are the true scum of Australia.
It depends on which part of Australia you're in I guess, I live in Perth and I've never seen anything like that happen. But I imagine in more bogan infested areas people would just sprout out whatever crap they've been fed about "boat people" and direct it towards anyone whose different. On a related note, has anyone seen the Housos movie? [editline]21st November 2012[/editline] And holy fuck did that guy smash a window?
I'd have to agree on the which part of Australia deal. I had a weird moment tonight where a guy was just trying to point out a lady and a man in a group of people and wouldn't say the word "Asian" to help me find them. I can't believe that people are that weird about things like that though. I mean it's not like he was avoiding the word "gook" or something. On topic: Sounds like south/east Sydney. Which is highly likely to be a place you would find good old piece of shit bogans, Straya Cunt
In my head I'm reading all the replies in an Australian accent, this happens every time I watch a video with Australians in it.
You obviously don't live in the north then
South also confirmed for racist.
all the perpetrators should get criminally charged - zero tolerance on this dumb racist bullshit
I fucking love the way australians say 'cunt' [editline]22nd November 2012[/editline] cummon cahnt
Not to be rude but I've seen a lot of Ausies on the internet with this sort of superiority complex that is almost as bad as some Americans. Like they're super gung-ho about their country and will say really crazy shit to prove it.

My best advice when it comes to avoiding crazies is just stay out of poorer areas.
I'll take your word for it, I shouldn't really be forming any sort of opinion on your country based on some isolated online encounters anyway. Further more now that I think about it I've met so many well rounded Australians on FP that I should focus on them far more than the crazies I've met.
and people wonder why I carry
Because you're a paranoid lunatic? Most people just don't seem to care [editline]22nd November 2012[/editline]
I'd have to agree on the which part of Australia deal.
I think it's because a lot of the racism, I personally see, in Australia is towards asians, so people become hyper sensitive to saying anything.
