I tried this, is it normal to shake allot? It felt great and everything but holy shit I kept shaking, once I got out I was laughing my ass off at how much I was shaking.
Just do it a little bit cold, not like extremely freezing cold. Something that just feels a bit nippy, but not going to make you shiver. Because once you get out into a warmer area, the transition of cold to warm sometimes can cause a sickness to come on easier. That and it's not good for you.
took about 13 cold showers since i saw this, at first it was weird but even then i got used to it after the first few seconds. it feels nice. also didn't chicken out and i put that shit on super freezer xx setting with the knob.

but i think my weiner didn't like it and decided to run away, i can't find him anywhere
I put it on the coldest temperature ever and it felt like I was standing outside in winter, naked with rain pouring over me. Then I realized that I must be doing something wrong.
Too cold and you might go into shock, also to that one dude saying it feels horrible getting out of warm showers but worse getting out of cold showers..what? It feels much better getting out of a cold shower because the air feels warm, unless your bathroom is colder than the water.

I dont think so. Over here swimming in holes on ice hasn't caused shock iirc.
And that's as cold as it gets. And before you go into shock/hypothermia, it's probably gonna get pretty uncomfortable.

Gave it a try today. I had to get in there hot, then lower the temperature a little by little until it was freezing.
Felt refreshed as hell afterwards.
I tried that. As soon as it got "a little colder" I chickened out.
Anyone else gasp when they first get into a cold shower?

I usually only end a shower cold. Especially in the summer, it feels great. I've been having trouble sleeping lately, so I'm gonna try this right now.
Last night I cheated by starting warm, I did go full on cold at the end tho.
Am I the only one who sees these videos and just doesn't give two shits?
Also, most of you are missing the point of warm and cold showers, not just out right cold showers.

Kinda did the same a few days ago. Turned it to full freezer-cold because why not, but when I got in I tried standing in the cold water and it was waaayyy too fucking cold. After that I showered using warm water but at the end I made it cold again. That was a pretty good way to finish a shower.
start with the water being room temperature, comfortable on your skin, lukewarm. every 30seconds/minute barely click it down once you're comfortable with the temperature of each click, just keep doing that until it's on the coldest, or nearly coldest setting.

i did this today and did not gasp at all when I reached the lowest setting, it took about 2-3minutes to get comfortable with easing into the coldest setting and by then my body just kept adjusting to the point of feeling alright with it being really cold
as opposed to one time when I went in with hot water, then turned switched it cold started to gasp furiously

after getting used the the cold temperature and showering, drying off was really comfortable. the body is actively regulating it's temperature during the shower so you're all nice and cozy warm feeling at the end and especially as you dry off.
