Wait. Was that bipod being actually used on that sniper rifle at 2:20? Fucking insta-buy. Not even Arma does it, and suddenly bipods in vanilla BF game.
you could use bipods on sniper rifles in BF3 anyway if I remember right.
Still looks a little too much like BF3. They should have made another BC or something in the meantime and took a few years to make a BF4 a major step forward.
Building on to a game rather than starting over often produces a much better game. Like Fallout 2, GTA V just to name a few We'dd prolly end up with another BC1 which was a major step backwards from 2 and 2142
you're right, since it will play out the exact same every time that said, I don't think it takes away from the game either, and every now and then a cool situation might come from it, so I think it's a cool addition none the less
Here we all are thinking they've tossed the salad that is rush, and at every stage there will be some set-piece to spice things up as it were, come to find out they've substituted a change in water level in place of actually making other areas of the map to progress to and we're all just wallowing in the shit waters of some tiny bogged out town until the $50 DLC is released where we can all escape on invincible jet-skis with flags strapped to our backs. Or maybe it's just my unhealthy paranoia about contrived publisher announcements getting the better of me.
why are the jets flying so low? I hope the maps that allow them there isn't that stupid 600 altitude cap god that was so stupid, your jet would basically become a floating target after a certain altitude and you'd become slower than a turtle hated that shit jets/helicopters are mostly used as CAS, they come in front he sky, to drop a payload, and gtfo not fly 50 alts from the ground
you could use bipods on sniper rifles in BF3 anyway if I remember right.
Fuck. Insta-buy cancelled. I never bought BF3, so I kinda assumed that deploying bipods would be too far above the "threshold". Soz lol.
At least in the end the music kind of went back to its roots and isnt shitty wubstep but then they ruin it again
Still looks a little too much like BF3. They should have made another BC or something in the meantime and took a few years to make a BF4 a major step forward.
Sure it aesthetically looks similar, but the gears beneath the graphics is significantly improved.
As a 1942 player all the way up to BF2, was stoked about BF3. Won't get fooled again.
Flooding the city so it becomes all Zodiacs sounds really cool and fun but about two hours after launch if you busted that levy everyone else on the server would be super buttmad about having their noscoping ruined and leave
I hope all this Dynamic map changes doesn't happen every game, it kinda defeats the "dynamic" part of it if its in every matches.
jets/helicopters are mostly used as CAS, they come in front he sky, to drop a payload, and gtfo
you are mistaken, helicopters are used to trample your enemies while they helplessly lie on the ground and to take out unsuspecting lamp posts
just like tanks are supposed to be in the middle of a room with everyone shooting at them, not off at a distance shelling where it can escape danger more easily. Seriously though am I the only one that uses the tanks as a shelling platform and not as a brawler? I never get into the middle of a fight, recipe for disaster. I'm a bit more aggressive with the IFVs, but even then if I start getting missile locked, I lock the fucker in reverse and keep going until I can either draw out the shooter to get killed or escape lock. Its a grand feeling when you realize 3/4th of the enemy team is after you because you're running 40k-0d in the IFV.
When is the beta going public again?
God damn, THIS game is why I got a part time job and haven't spent a penny. By the time I've have enough for a decent PC, the very first thing I'm gonna install is Battlefield 4.
When is the beta going public again?
4th October. Anyone with BF3 Premium, a pre-order on BF4 or Medal of Honor Warfighter get to play on the 1st.
I love how they have their 50$ season pass out before the game is out. Dunno guys, I kinda hate the idea of having to pay money for content that is practically being made before the game gets released. But I'll probably get a fuck load of dumbs cause, it's a great value, ya know? After all, it really is made post game release.
After BF3 you'd be a fool to not get the season pass for this considering the game was unplayable if you didn't have all of the $20 DLC's.
After BF3 you'd be a fool to not get the season pass for this considering the game was unplayable if you didn't have all of the $20 DLC's.
It's actually really easy to find non-DLC servers. I didn't buy Premium until the last expansion came out and even then I played on normal servers with friends who didn't own it. Never once was finding a server difficult other than the general Battlelog shit.
After BF3 you'd be a fool to not get the season pass for this considering the game was unplayable if you didn't have all of the $20 DLC's.
That's another thing I can't stand about it, I shouldn't have to pay one hundred fucking dollars to play a game I already bought. They game shouldn't be unplayable if I don't want to piss away all of my money on DLC.
You guys obviously haven't played Battlefield 3, there are shitloads of non premium servers I mean what is wrong with you, how is the game unplayable if you can't access the stuff you haven't paid for? [editline]18th September 2013[/editline] It kind of reminds me of my friend who also got Battlefield 3, he played like a few matches until B2K came out and never touched it cos "there's no vanilla servers anymore"
I have a really hard time finding DLC servers, honestly. All I find is vanilla.
EA may be a massive pile of dicks, but I'm definitely going to get this. Hopefully they'll one day make another building-leveling Bad Company after this.
EA may be a massive pile of dicks, but I'm definitely going to get this.
They said in an interview that they were aiming to return destruction to Bad Company levels, but this may just be bullshit.
Bad Company 2, you could level almost any building you could see from the inside or out. BF4 just looks like it's more of a scripted "level changer" function. Which, don't get me wrong, is visually impressive, but loses that sense of "Okay, we can knock out these guys from this location as long as nobody brings our fucking shelter down on top of us.". But I guess we'll have to wait until BF4 is released to find out for ourselves.
It would be great if BF4'd have proper hardcore mode. It would be even better if we'd get mod tools.
urban naval combat ok I'll give it a go
I have a really hard time finding DLC servers, honestly. All I find is vanilla.
NOSHAAR TDM 1000TKS NO CRANE C4 OR AUTO SHOTGN xXN00b~FriendlyXx (add to fav servers pls)

BC2 was really fun, but the destruction was basically thanks to "ok lets copypaste these 5 house types all over the maps" It was still cool though. BF4 needs denser forests. With how BF3 had tree physics synced, it'd be cool battling in a thick forest and being able to destroy trees and crush enemy vehicles with them.
woah the theme tune at the end
buy now upgrade later? hmmm
Sure if you don't care to have good frame rates.
