I hope they do a ton more game shows like Jack. That game brings more laughs than most videos for me.
is there any game show game quite like YDKJ? excluding the older ones of course
i haven't seen star wars or lord of the rings either.
i will some day, maybe.
Y'all need to watch those trilogies man.
I have the 4 disk set of all the LOTR movies, and the vhs theatrical releases of the original three star wars because i choose not to be an uncultured swine.
I haven't seen Star Wars
any of them
In the latest YDKJ episode Jon said "Nero from Greece." As a history nerd that hurt me, physically.

I have every home release of Star Wars, ever.
I actually had not seen LOTR until recently. My brother got the blu-ray extended edition and we watched all 3 movies in a row. It took about 12 hours to finish it all but was worth it.
Lord of the Rings is my favorite trilogy, with the original Star Wars movies in close second. I find myself having more and more in common with Jon.

You should watch the prequels first, they're way better!!!!11

i want to, there's just hours of stuff to watch and i'd prefer to do it in one sitting, which is hard 'cause i usually don't have that much free time.
one day.
It was one thing when Arin said he hadn't seen LotR, but it was another wen he said he fell asleep during Return of the King. I was like"... no....NO!"
I honestly think he would enjoy them if he gave them an honest watch. Non-directors cut though, cause it gets a bit lengthy for introducing someone to the stories.

he did have a point though. why get mad at someone who HASN'T watched something?

I'm in the exact same position, never saw any of the LotR movies, went to see Return of the King and fell asleep. They're boring ass movies if you can't get into them.
I haven't seen LoTR either (I have the DVDs sitting in a box in my room, but I'm too lazy to watch them at the moment). What made me mad was that Jon once again failed to provide a good argument for his opinion. "I just don't find the setting that interesting," says Arin. "BUT THEY'RE GOOD MOVIES WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU WATCH THEM!" Jon declares. Jon couldn't seem to understand that if you don't like the idea of something, you're not going to be able to sit down and enjoy it. To be fair, Arin didn't go into much detail either, but at least he didn't ignore all logic and shout about how his own viewpoint was right.
I have to agree with Arin, I tried to watch Lord of the Rings but it was just too long and too boring.
lord of the rings is bad suck it nerds !!!
I think Jon's reaction was pretty normal if you notice his Star Wars comparison. It's just one of those things you'd think everyone has seen or, at the very least, has heard of. But of course, there are always exceptions.
Why would everyone have seen it if they aren't interesting in the theme? Why would you watch a movie when you don't like what it's about?
I haven't seen Star Wars

The original trilogy, 4-5-6, are honestly very very good films. I am a starwars fan, but they are great movies. If you watch them, try to watch the oldest possible versions you can find. Every re-release, Lucas ruins them more and more. I just recently watched the BD re-release and it's cringe worthy what he added in.
Ooh they mentioned Grant Kirkhope
Hopefully that episode airs soon
Lucky.
Arin absolutely needs to see the Lord of the Rings movies.
Holy shit, no wonder he fell asleep during Return of the King. He hadn't seen the other two. Nothing would make any fucking sense and you wouldn't be emotionally attached to the characters.
No he fucking doesn't, if he doesn't care about fantasy shit then he doesn't need to see them at all. I don't care about fantasy stuff at all, I watched the first LotR movie and didn't like it at all.
