Fucking again, they KNEW THAT, they tried doing it like 3 times but the prompt to do so did not show up. Jesus, can you not read? Or did not even watch the video?
Their objective was to burn the present, why would they leave the only fire in the entire area because they didn't see a prompt?
Their objective was to burn the present, why would they leave the only fire in the entire area because they didn't see a prompt?
Because they didn't see the prompt and assume it's not where they're supposed to do it? In a game, if I know I need to activate something, I go to it and the game doesn't let me, I'm not just gonna keep trying to do it, I'm gonna try to find somewhere else where to do that. The prompt should have appeared as soon as they walked up to the fire, it didn't, that's the game's fault, not theirs. [editline]19th February 2013[/editline] And they did come back to the fire like 2 times and had no prompt appear either time.
Sometimes this thread fells like the YouTube comment section, except that I feel obligated to read through 3 pages of it after waking up. Sure, they make one bad video. I don't care if I am not entertained or if it doesn't entertain me or satisfy the cold and cynical completionist we all apparently have in us, I am at least satisfied by the fact that they post videos at all at specific times, so I know they will be uploading more (potentially good) content at those specific times. And if the video is not good, I feel less entertained by reading 3 pages of a shitstorm where the same statement is repeated over and over again by different users, expecting to make some kind of point.

I'd understand if they looked around once and then went back, but they spent more time searching aimlessly and running around when they could of just hung around the fire for an extra...20 seconds? and fidgeted around the fire untill the prompt appeared. It was very obvious what their objective was, it was also obvious that the game was encountering some technical problems, however that isn't uncommon and should be something you get used to when navigating a game. They should of used their common sense instead of just devoting ten minutes to them doing nothing at all. Many games encounter problems like this, button prompts not appear, but the whole "burn the present" and the only fire in the area being that one really should of tipped them off that maybe the prompt wasn't appearing due to some stupid bug and maybe they should focus on that.
They just assumed the game wouldn't be shitty and would function as intended, you can't blame them for that.
from the get go they said the game was terrible though, it was one of the first things they said about it. Its completely true that the game should function and actually display the prompts, but an average human being should be able to deduct problems like that in a game and solve it. I'm going to pin this on Jon and Ego not properly paying attention to the game as they usually do, but in this case it seriously impacted one of their videos.
i didn't think it was that bad... id probably be just as confused as they are
Their objective was to burn the present, why would they leave the only fire in the entire area because they didn't see a prompt?
In the corner of the screen all it said was destroy the gift as an optional mission. They missed the introduction which mentioned burning because they were busy talking, no one is watching the video to listen to the introduction. They had no idea that burning it was what they were supposed to do. Especially considering that Jon walked up to the fire with the present and pressed X on two different occasions but nothing happened.
This should be a PSA for "Johnny can't read".
jon and arin are awesome, funny guys and i love their show and everything but jesus christ sometimes they act like they just lack common sense

lmao i knew people would be complaining about the naughty bear episode on here. the episode was funny stop being spergs
everything the gamegrumps do is good no complaining is allowed only my opinion is right all must bend to the will of the overgrumps -HybridTheroy, 2013
more like Who gives a shit if they made a bad video, shut up and watch their better videos. -for no reason, just now
the episode was funny stop being spergs
nah fak ya
Alright everything is in the past now, we just got more Sonic, and it was a good episode where both good commentary was made and progression was made, let's be happy.
more like Who gives a shit if they made a bad video, shut up and watch their better videos. -for no reason, just now
No discussion allowed apparently.
everything the gamegrumps do is good no complaining is allowed only my opinion is right all must bend to the will of the overgrumps -HybridTheroy, 2013
Ahahahaha if you've ever read a post i've made in this thread you would see how much of a moronic post that is.
everything the gamegrumps do is good no complaining is allowed only my opinion is right all must bend to the will of the overgrumps -HybridTheroy, 2013
you can have an opinion if you want but it doesn't make you any less of a cry baby.
No discussion allowed apparently.
Seriously not saying there's anything wrong with just saying "aha cant believe they missed it" but paragraph long debate-posts about whether or not it's acceptable is fucking ridiculous
Seriously not saying there's anything wrong with just saying "aha cant believe they missed it" but paragraph long debate-posts about whether or not it's acceptable is fucking ridiculous
Not when one of them make fun of videogames for a living and the other one has made indepth videos about what makes a game work and not.
Not when one of them make fun of videogames for a living and the other one has made indepth videos about what makes a game work and not.
They aren't playing it under normal circumstances. People watch to hear them talk and make jokes not sit in silence listening to the game, if they were playing a game to review it for a JonTron or Sequelitis video then I'm sure they would be taking it more seriously.
Not when one of them make fun of videogames for a living and the other one has made indepth videos about what makes a game work and not.
They're just silly youtube videos. why do you guys think gamegrumps is a series that should be taken seriously
Honestly, I don't see what is wrong with the video. Sure they didn't make any progress but they still made jokes and it was still funny. It was far from their best but I don't think it is the worst.
And I thought a new video (especially a sonic video) would break us out of this infinite circle of shit. Haha the grumps are talking about girlfriend stories! Let's discuss that and not infinitely complain about something.
And I thought a new video (especially a sonic video) would break us out of this infinite circle of shit. Haha the grumps are talking about girlfriend stories! Either the game is terrible and it's thus funny, or it's simply shit and they have interesting discussions.
Not when one of them make fun of videogames for a living and the other one has made indepth videos about what makes a game work and not.
except these videos aren't about them having in-depth and intelligent discussions on video games, it's about them making dick jokes and laughing at each others farts. quit your crying
I really liked the things they talked about in this episode. I swear, Sonic 06 is better and better. Either the game is terrible and it's thus funny, or it's simply shit and they have interesting discussions.
They even said it in the video. The game sort of gets them exited, like it is some sort of on-going classic series which they've been doing for a while and never get sick of.

Guys, They tried something it was bad. They won't upload another episode of it. Jesus they only tried.
They're just silly youtube videos. why do you guys think gamegrumps is a series that should be taken seriously
They're youtube videos I've been watching daily for over half a year and I care about them and it's what they do for a living. Of course I'll care when they produce complete shit content. Not to mention they both made fun of letsplayers before they made GG, and still do for that matter, and then they make episodes like this. [editline]19th February 2013[/editline]
Guys, They tried something it was bad. They won't upload another episode of it. Jesus they only tried.
Says episode 1. One shots doesn't get episode numbers.
