oh boy its part 2 to everyone's favorite episode you guys must be so EXCITED
HALLELUJAH
Best intro yet.
Better episode this time
Oh man when Arin shot that bear taunting in the house I lost my shit, that was so fucking funny
Oh my god they didn't destroy the present and took way too long to exit the level, I will spend the next 5 pages complaining about this! Seriously though, of course this video would be good, why else would they upload part 1 if they were all terrible. In fact, I think just the first video being horrible added to the humor in the intro, where they [sp]threw the present into a fire, like the instructions told them to. You know, the instructions that they followed![/sp]

Also, I'm glad they realised that it was their fault and stopped blaming the developers for it.
much better. It seems though they're doing it precisely to address the crticism. Notice how they stay talking about the game for the better part of the video..

They would've mentioned the backlash if that hadn't been the case.
I really think this is some kind of sick experiment to see if we react to them playing a game wrong, because Arin spent a good couple minutes with that glowing green arrow on his feet and didn't even light the present he had on him when he got near a fire. That game is really fucked up. I love it.
I was concerned when Ego had the arrow and they were talking about porn, but much better this time around.

Do you ever think that you're reading too much into things?
Do you ever think that you're reading too much into things?
Is your post a metaphor for all the wrong-doings and bestialities mankind has ever done to our world? What would the world be without mankind... wait, that means we don't get game grumps, meaning no pointless discussions!
That episode certainly went better, although HOLY HELL for a game where you essentially fight Care Bears it certainly is pretty brutal; I half-expected to see more fluff flying about during the brutal finishers. I just hope it doesn't go banana-fluffernutter crazy around the end; if they start shooting lasers from their bellies I'm sodding done. But at least there aren't any ponies; god I hope there aren't any in this game.
This series will have a lot of animation material, with their reactions to murder and stuff. Kinda makes me want to make my own, but I haven't animated since I was 13~, and I don't think I've improved at all.

It's the perfect excuse for practising flash, really!

If they executed it right it could have been fucking amazing.
it kind of reminds me of hitman
Wow, naughty bear looks like it had massive potential but they just got cheap with it. If they executed it right it could have been fucking amazing.
And that, kids, is why you shouldn't execute a neat concept half-assedly or half-heartedly; not only does it make a sub-par game, but it disrespects the concept and potentially tarnishes it. For example, in theory a Game of Thrones video game would be kinda cool, but the ones that have been made so far, the action-RPG and the strategy game, don't seem to fully capture the spirit of the books and show, from what I've heard. (both designed by Cyanide, so maybe the rights to make a Game of Thrones game should be given to someone like CD Projekt, even if the Witcher games are already kinda Thronesy in their own way) Basically if you're going to make something amazing, make it as amazing as you are your fellow devs can possibly make it, and try to make sure that your best is actually good enough to properly execute the concept. Not saying the game is horrible; from what I've seen it looks kind of alright, not excellent but not terrible.

Naughty Bear is more like a school shooting / childhood multi homicide simulator than Manhunt is. At least with manhunt the people you're hunting are trying to kill you regardless. In Naughty Bear, you're the lowly social outcast everyone makes fun of so you react by murdering EVERYONE, most of which either fight back in self defense, run away and call the police, or just plain beg for mercy before being brutally slaughtered. Because of the context that game is fifty times more fucked up than any game like Manhunt will ever be, regardless of the lack of gore.
