Zombies have yellow blood in game though. Besides, a few times at the beginning there's red blood splats (when the cops and pac-man ghost go past there's a red blood splat on the wall) and when the combine soldier gets swarmed by antlions his blood is red.
Seems like a load of work for something that doesn't look that great. I did like the airboat part when he slowly raised his eyebrow.

I think the zombie blood IS red...can't remember exactly. The antlion blood was yellow though.

Headcrabs are yellowblooded, Zombies are red becasue they were human.
