she's not a pop musician so I get no reason why people hate her just because she makes music she wants to make.
and she didn't break up the Beatles it was Paul.
Don't worry Yoko Ono, I don't worry about your upcoming death.
And for those who are wondering, yes she did caterwaul in the middle of the song
her face
"Aaaanddd my job here is done. Put down the mic and keep slapping the drum. I'll do it again later. Yup."

Making music you wanna make does not make you immune to criticism.
Especially when you're playing it at something like Glastonbury.

that's not what I'm saying, she's portraying her style and people are actually offended by it that's the thing. It's ok to growl but not okay to wail? That's not cool.
Also, I'd like to see James Hetfield still himself at 81..
music festivals here have always done odd things over the years:

The important thing to point out here is that this isn't performance art or Dada or anything. She actually thinks this music sounds good.
Its people like here that give musicians and artist a bad name
that wasn't as bad as it was made out to be

I actually made all my comments here before watching the video. From the reactions I assumed the performance consisted of her randomly wailing with no accompanying instrumentation

it's good abstract rock :]
and it's not like it's the only type of music she makes:

It's ok to growl
It's ok to scream(when done well)
It's fucking stupid and irritating to wail.
What's the point of circlejerking over how much you dislike something that you can easily avoid watching and listening to?

It's a species-wide pastime.
Look at what Siouxsie Sioux had to do [2:55]
