Please tell me they're giving the classes the baby stuff as miscs.
I don't care if you think the game will be ruined forever if it gets in, I will never be happy if a chance to see Soldiers parading around with milk bottles and dummies is not taken advantage of.

Probably coming in pyromania day three.
How long do you think it will be until Pyroverse reskins start popping up?
The Sniper's scream made me cringe.

I think he sees it weird because of "Optical Mask".
What if Valve used this song instead?

Like I posted in a other thread.

How disappointing, i was expecting something special for the last one, and it turns out not even as good as meet the medic/spy.
Not worth the wait.

it was probably the best out of all of them
maybe not the longest, but imo it was the best

I tell you, Valve tries their very hardest to please the community but people expect more out of them.
Please stop being a spoiled asshole and enjoy what they have. I know I enjoyed it.

How so ?
it doesn't have any interaction whatsoever, it's just the pyro running with rainbows in the background, a step down in quality compared to the last two.

Oh you liked it ? that's great! good for you, thank you for the input.
I'm kinda annoyed how everyone's saying things like "oh, that idea's been around for ages, oh that's so predictable, oh I came up with that ololol". Um, Valve themselves said ages ago that they had come up with a script for the Meet the Pyro video pretty much before they'd started making the Heavy video, or at least very soon afterwards. So, yeah, they DID use an old idea, but that's not to say that they were stealing ideas or anything. Just that they came up with an idea for the video early on, and that some other people came up with the same idea in the meantime.

It explains why the Pyro is so feminine and extremely happy all the time.
He's a clinically insane maniac who sees nothing in life but rainbows and babies.

So it's nothing new, it's just "cool", so what ? the last two were much more elaborate and interesting, this one doesn't introduce anything.

You're expecting an awful lot from some videos about a game that are meant to be funny. Why the hell does it have to "introduce new things?" It was a funny video, they've never been anything more than that.
tf2 fanbase, ladies and gentlemen.
I am satisfied. Free things and a good short.

Thanks for being so nice Valve.
High disappointed, and the video presented no significant additional depth to the Pyro. It's been how many years and they're just now releasing this? I don't even play TF2 anymore.

It's not that they're trying. In fact, I have to debate how much they're really trying with a video like this in comparison to their previous works. It's that it's taken so long.
The video itself, without any outside expectations or preconceived notions, was great. When you bring it outside into the real world, it's been so many years that the hype and desire for this video to come out surpasses its actual quality.
This is the big issue with why I'm so sorely disappointed. It's like a cinematic DNF, and I also think it foreshadows some of Valve's practices that even trickles down to upcoming titles with the exception of DOTA 2, considering it's not an extension of a previous Valve title or series.
Valve has had what seems like some great comforts in not having to rely heavily on meeting deadlines, perhaps due to being a private company with such a radically different business model, but I'm personally getting sick of it.
Step up your game Valve.

Watch the last two and come back, they were "something more", compared their previous work.
It's only natural to expect the same weight for this one, but it didn't happen, for some reason.
I was both happy and unhappy with the fact they didn't reveal his face.
I was happy because it will always be an unknown secret to be discovered (it won't be) by the community.
I was unhappy because I waited 5 fucking years for valve to show his face.

Actually, what could you have expected from Meet the Pyro. He's a silent character, we've never seen his face and we know that he's not quite good in the head from the things he's done before.
Taking all that into account, Valve did a pretty fine job delivering us some insight in a very, very insane mind.
It may have not been as long as Meet the Medic but that's the only thing I disliked about the video. It also could have gone longer with the interviews but I thought it was an awesome piece of work by Valve. The more I watch it the more I like it.

Well there is that TF2 Series that might be coming on Adult Swim. MIGHT.
A Murderer without an conscience. monstrous and cruel.
I am fucking terrefied about pyros now.
Man, Source film makers the shit lol

Dude they had to re-make all the models and everything, because suddenly there's a new game world inside Pyro's mind. That takes much more time then just rendering the models they already have in the environment they already have.

It's the character everyone gets all moisty about, there's a huge mystery behind him, he's actually the one with the most possibilities, so yeah, they could've done a whole lot more.
It's not that it's bad, it just... lacks. It feels like wasted potential.
