if you think they would reveal anything major about the pyro then you don't know anything about comedy, characters, or writing.

Well im guessing its pretty hard to come up with a video/trailer for a character that has no details BUT his appearance. nothing really is known about it, if its a he/she/thing, where it comes from, its backstory. The only reason why all the rest of the team got a bigger trailer is probably because they ALL have backstories and they all have details. Pyro just doesnt have any of that.

it was just showcasing a sandwitch. yes it was new content for the game but what else does it show? thats just what Valve does really, They make there trailers funny to attract the viewer. and they have done it right from the start. another thing is that Valve also hide alot of features within the trailer. and they do it for pretty much everything really (ingame, Steam Sales. trailers etc)

Uh, this had a pretty clear story and a situation the character fit in, the Pyro is not supposed to have lines, the other characters had plenty of lines.
Meet the pyro had a cool into, several lines of him, view of what the pyro sees and then what is actually happening, a pretty decent explanation of everything.
You see, none of them were short movies, they were little videos of varying lengths.

I think Valve want it to make it controversial. They want heated discussion and flame wars to erupt. People are really venting their steam.
