My old dog died 4 months ago, he was nearly blind and deaf.

In every damn pet thread people feel the need to express that 'X is better then y' or the other way around. Shut the fuck up and enjoy whatever pet you have.

My cat goes berserk when I come home after I've been at work from 6:00AM to 6:00PM. She meows really loud and jumps on my lap and starts massaging me, eventually falling asleep in my lap. Every time.
But yeah, I agree that most cats just don't care. My previous one didn't.
