Those fucking children, took me like 3 tries to get past them in the demo.
Just back up to where you walked in and funnel them in. Makes that part VERY easy.

Yeah I just funneled them and peppered them with the plasma rifle, worked pretty well
.. I expected worse really.
Think about drinking that monsters acid and then puking it, but a second later puking your own melted organs. Holy fuck, that has to hurt.
Ew, that first one was fucking disgusting.
.. I expected worse really.
Really?
This game will be amazing. It already looks really polished compared to the first. Good thing I preordered. Also, what's with the crackling static in the first video?
First 20 seconds of the first video. Show it to someone to describe the Dead Space series in 20 seconds.
Holy fuck, stopped at the first one :ohdear: EYE BLEACH!
Someone make a gif of the 1:54 death scene please.
Its like Aliens vs Predator all over again.
Knowing that he can only detatch his limbs at certain points makes me just go like. "Oh, how will his arm/head come off this time?" I dunno... Stuff like that doesn't shock me anymore after all the resident evil and who knows what third person survival horror shooters. What I would like to see is more love for detail. You know, unique damage models for the kills would add so much more variety, even if it is just decals. The spike in the mout and puking blood kills were pretty creative, but that's as good as it gets. Aliens vs predator did that pretty good. you know all the unique, carefully modelled muscels, arteries, nerves and other gore when you rip a head off.

It's not like the first game, where he had it on throughout until the last cutscene.
dead space always had some horrific deaths
Some of these require you to suck A LOT though.
These are nothing compared to the death scene with the final boss on the first Dead Space. I couldn't get that sequence out of my head for like a week afterwards.

The deaths weren't just you ragdolling after losing all your health, it was a brutal, awful death that made you cringe and feel bad for letting Isaac die. Glad to see they're keeping it up though, that one in Dead Space 1 where the creature rips your head off and assumes control of your corpse was awful. :ohdear:
http://www.eyebleach.com/
Thanks Doc.
Really i thought the most horrific death in the first one was with the regenerating monster where it thrusts its blade/arms into you and starts chopping off the characters limbs, then the character is like begging for mercy or whatever then it chops his head and legs off and throws him. None of these seens were desensitizing though, like someone else said, the shock factor disappears after you play games like resident evil stuff.
At least they're not raping Isaac's body
At least they're not raping Isaac's body
SSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH what if the devs are reading this don't give them ideas.
Glad I pre-ordered that haha.
The most horrible deaths in the first game were the big tentacle ones, where you were being tracted by some tentacle and if you didn't manage to severe it in time, you just got raped in some dark hole. There were three moments like that and every time you got a special death scene if you failed at destroying the huge yellow explosive bulb you had to shoot.
Wouldn't expect any less from a developer that studied car-crash victims for their gore.
That's cool, I wasn't planning on sleeping tonight anyway.
Isaac is a bad ass.
I find it more amusing than anything else.
This one is fucking horrific in the first one: I shat myself when I played with those guys.
