I just feel like you probably have to get a lot luckier on the genetic slot machine to be a professional athlete. Because you have to learn how to play the game well AND have the perfect physical traits. Which is what I meant by the difference.
Like if I suck at Counter-Strike, I know I just suck because I suck. Not because my body is completely incapable of doing what my brain wants it to.

You're missing my point. People don't watch Pewdiepie because he's excelling at streaming, like how people watched Cosmo for excelling at speedrunning. I see where you're coming from (as, obviously, Pewdiepie excels at streaming), but that's not what draws people to him.
this applies for horror games for me; i can watch other people do it because i enjoy the feeling of getting spooked alongside a bunch of other idiots
