frozen was terrible and the fact that it has a weirdo fanbase is even worse
What camera is that? its shooting 4k
Might be a Note 3.
Child abuse my ass, the kid found it funny.
I wish my parents had played pranks on me like this.
It's not really a prank, is it?
Might be a Note 3.
But it's still not shooting landscape mode

What weirdo fanbase?
When he gets older, he will realize the fact that not only his family have recorded it and watched it, but also a lot of people around the planet have watched him doing this as a child. This kid deserves all the toys in the world. And an Oscar.

hilarious how the only people who are mad about this are stupid insecure teenagers/adults on the internet, not the kid who agreed to wear the dress. mostly because he's not old enough to be a judgmental fuck.
really cute video, tho.
Yeah I love the comments. Insecure people commenting about the lives of normal people. Guess that's a way to make themselves seem normal.
The weirdest is probably the "pedophile" comment. Here we see a father messing around with his kid. And somehow the guy sees something sexual about it?? Jesus Christ...
What weirdo fanbase?
for some reason it has a "fandom" that's just about as awful as bronies, whovians and homestuck fans despite the fact that it's just another disney movie
I think the movie itself was pretty good, though

I was about to say that the fandom has to be pretty small, but then I realized I got invited to a "Princess Anna" group on Steam, which I also accepted :tinfoil:
Obviously wearing a pink dress makes you gay 4 life.

I thought the movie was alright, I watched it last night. It was a standard Disney affair. I wasn't expecting it to be a musical, though, and that slightly annoyed me (I was expecting something more along the lines of Toy Story, or your other Pixar films.) I'm actually kind of disappointed though because the movie could have gone in so many different directions.
What if Elsa became a straight up tragic villain after realizing the power she wielded in her "Let it Go" song, thanks to her cold personality that she acquired out of the crippling fear and immense pressure placed on her conflicting with her ecstasy of finally being allowed to exercise her power without tethers? They even alluded to that possibility thanks to lines such as "It's funny how some distance makes everything seem small," and "The cold never bothered me anyway." It could have made for an surprisingly deep and excellent tragedy that could have come straight out of one of Shakespeare's plays. Though I guess I was hoping for too much, it was still a Disney movie and all Disney movies need to have happy endings. All in all, it wasn't a terrible film but it was ultimately nothing special.

I mean, some of the previous Pixar films managed to have some complex themes for what they were. Maybe this was far too much to ask of what is primarily a kid's movie, but I just kept expecting it to take that direction. And then when it didn't the film lacked the punch I was hoping for.
Elsa was supposed to be the villain iirc
Anna was supposed to be the villain iirc
Elsa was supposed to be the villain
Though I have to admit I did quite like the subversion of the traditional [sp]true love's kiss will save the day![/sp] stuff we usually see in movies like that, this was quite well played.

I have heard multiple people saying this, and it pisses me off.
Frozen is all about shifting up a large part of the tropes evident in the Disney canon. That whole "true love" thing where the girl immediately falls for Prince Handsome and they get wonderfully married? Not in this film. Typically male-centric plot where the guy ends up saving the princess? (well, to be fair Mulan subverted this as well) Not this film.
Also it deals with a lot of heavy themes and shows them in a heavier light than usual for Disney films, let alone children's media. Themes of anxiety, depression, acceptance, responsibility, heck even sexuality (the "hoo, hoo" bath house dude is gay, when's the last time you saw a gay character in a kid's film that wasn't a walking camp stereotype).
And yes, I know me having an Elsa avatar may put my objectivity into doubt, but I don't care, let the storm rage on, the dumb ratings never bothered me anyway.
Elsa was supposed to be the villain
She came off more as a misunderstood victim than anything. It was pretty clear that she never wanted to actually hurt anyone. Even when [sp]attempts are made on her life, she is sure to use non-lethal attacks to disarm and incapacitate.[/sp] Most of her danger comes from her lack of control, which is central to the film and further reinforces the idea of her being the victim. It is a curse, after all.

Yeah, I'm going to have to admit, it did change up enough to be at least a bit fresh, maybe I was being a bit too sour. Anna was clearly a strong, albeit naive (mostly because of her being cut off from the outside world for so long,) female lead. And this was the first film they did to finally poke holes at the "Why would you marry some guy you just met?" thing that we always see, which of course becomes a central plot point later on.

Also it was kind of amusing in a way because Anna was basically exactly how my older sister is in real life.

"Captain Sweden: Origins•"
that's probably the best thing I'll read all year
Haha that's cute.
