anyone who owns or has an interest in expensive cars is probably a dickhead tbh that being said, who gives a shit whether he damaged the car or not, he bought it. it's his
So if you earn money and buy a nice car for yourself, you're a dickhead? I'm not quite getting your logic. Can you elaborate?
Lamborghini are going to spend more time in the shop then they are on the road. You have to be silly to buy one.
it's not how he spends his money that gets under some peoples skin. I'm speaking assumptively because I don't personally care, but it makes sense. It's not how someone like this spends money. It's how they fail to treat things that are extremely valuable, like they are valuable, it's the depreciation of value that their wealth is making them see. They don't see a 200,000$ car with 5000$ worth of damages as a problem, it's chump change to them. Congrats to them, that's great they're that rich that money is toilet paper for them. That doesn't mean though, that the way they treat their goods should be seen as admirable. I get kind of confused when you constantly go through a whole thread saying "But why do you care how someone else spends their money", I would imagine that yes, jealousy is a part of it, but it's also that these people are role models and public figures that many kids and young people and even people my age look at and admire. Sure, it's great he made money, that's awesome, I'm not personally jealous of that, but what does bother me, is that this, and people like this guy, are who many people are growing up to look up to in many ways. I don't think anyone who doesn't value their wealth is really a person we should be respecting as a society, I'm sorry, truly sorry if that upsets you, that I care about that. It's a shame, you care what I think, and about what other people think about this guy, because it's a waste of energy to try and get people to not care the probably infinitesimal amount it takes to create a post about it. I care more about the idea we can't criticize this guy, or those like him, in any way shape or form without being ourselves, critiqued for daring to have an opinion or to have thought about the larger issues that these kinds of people raise in a way, that's why I can apparently spend 5 minutes writing this. Because I do care, not about this guy in particular but by and large, yes, I care. I can't effect it anymore than I can talk about it on a forum, but dare I do that then people will say "Wow man why do you care" like that's a vastly more valid opinion.

You can criticize him, but why would you? It's like criticizing a rock for being hard, you can do that but why would you?
anyone who owns or has an interest in expensive cars is probably a dickhead tbh
I'm only asking because of an opinion you shared in another post a while ago and I'm curious, but how are car enthusiasts dickheads to you when IIRC your opinion towards people who are just as enthusiastic about their clothes are simply just people who care about how they look? I feel like you might be thinking of the people who spend money on expensive cars for the sake of having an expensive car rather than an actual enthusiast. Now that I'm thinking about it, that's probably the same way a few people look at people who dress nice/care about their clothes. I guess it's because it's easy for people to assume that someone isn't appreciative/grateful for whatever that person has - or is spending their money just to display it, as long as it's something that costs more than what most other people would spend.
at least he didnt put a nyan cat on it
at least he didnt put a nyan cat on it
I think deadmau5 actually got the Lamborghini he bought because Ferrari didn't like that he did that to it :v:

Why criticize those who say anything? Same logic you're applying
