He downgraded the processor in his build from his proposed i7 2600k to an i5 2500k, which, while both are great, the i7 is 100$ more, and he also took off windows 7 which is 100 dollars there. So...heh

Only thing I have against consoles is that you cannot adjust any graphical settings... not even the basics like resolution, texture quality, shadows....

Only reason I said i7 2600K was I didn't know the i5 2600K was a quad-core with more processing power than anyone can handle. If you have ever owned a PC, you probably have a monitor and OS anyways so you could easily do it for around $800. Go try and find a Mac similarly specced. You'd be looking at 2-5 thousand.

When I said i7 I was thinking of the black Friday prices I saw a while back. Was on sale for $220
The point is you can get computers cheap. Cheaper than the PS3 on launch, anyways.
