I think David Cage would do much better if he just focused on individual stories each "mission" rather than a big complex plot which he always fails at eventfully.
The finger mission in heavy rain was fucking great, but the story just fell apart as the game went on.
this looks like an hd remake of the original deus ex cutscenes

I feel like that would just be worse, since he's also really bad at writing normal feeling dialogue and making characters that aren't stupid ridiculous caricatures. At least when there's so much different stuff going on, you can almost kinda ignore that stuff, but if it was simple, then it'd be front and center how terrible it is.
im really interested in the premise, i fucking love ai and robot rights shit, but this is david cage, its gonna be shit

I am excited for more David cage so i can watch more of the best series of the Best Friends Zaibatsu, the Quadrilogy of Sadness.
Well like, for the first 45~ minutes, Beyond: Two Souls had a kickass plot and if it were in the hands of someone not, y'know, retarded, it'd be a great fuckin' game.
David Cage is the epitome of lost potential on so many levels.
I'm cautiously optimistic for this since Cage isn't the sole writer for this, and has potential to be something great.

Well Cage at the end of the day is a totally shite writer so the stories themselves will never be any good, but he could make a fun game with various situations that can be interacted with in loads of ways, with completely different characters each time. Sadly Cage thinks he's the shit and that his storytelling is god tier by gaming standards.
Holy fuck there was an interview with Cage and he's thoroughly convinced himself that "Robots vs humanity, where robots are the oppressed people" is a concept that literally has never been touched before.

He also said "this game is about an android hunting androids, so completely not like Blade runner"

If he watches a movie he'll have to add a cool scene he saw into the game, though.

At least then it'll be a scene that's at least a little bit connected to the genre. Not his current "I read wikipedia article about this genre and now I know all the intricacies and themes of this genre" writing.
