unless you're a cool dude and playing rogue trader
Rogue Trader, Dark Heresy, Deathwatch, Only War and Black Crusade is managed by Fantasy Flight, and even those tabletop RPGs have huge inconsistencies and problem.
The only thing I like about warhammer 40k is the art, and everything else about it makes me want to kinda puke.
I'm not into 40k, but I have a friend who is. One night, he went to a party and got really drunk and came back right before we started watching Big Hero Six. Every 20 minutes, he would keep calling their shit "Tau bullshit." Is this accurate?
And tanks, lots and lots of tanks.
And bodies. "SIR, THE ENEMY CANNOT SWIM" 'THEN WE SHALL DROWN THEM IN BODIES'
If anything, it's the Orkz that are the least bad of all the races. While everyone else has their own motives to get ahead, orkz just do it for fun. Are orkz even prejudice? I never took them as hateful, they just fight to fight
I don't know about that.. Orks enslave humans, and other species, AND their own kind? And in their society, a fellow Ork could kill you for variety of reasons: your teef, your gun, your armor plates, your food.. (Among other reasons like encroaching on their authority, or because they're actually insane.) [editline]4th January 2016[/editline] Also, they don't fight just for fighting. Especially when fighting fellow Orks. They do it to establish who is the most cunning and competent (or "bigga") to eventually lead other Orks in massive assaults known as Waaagh!s... And thus, creating the basis of Ork society and the means of which an Ork "citizen" is able to progress in the hierarchy; by fighting and/or alternatively, trading "teef."
Just as I was watching the video again for the animation, Rev uploaded a standalone video [sp]Liiterally all of my Warhammer 40K knowledge comes from social osmoisis and I knew just enough to know what he was talking about.[/sp]
Why isn't there an MMO where the players get to play as Orks? Where you get to progress in level and growing in size (unless you're DNA-determined Oddboyz; Mekboy/Painboy/Weirdboy/Runtherd) by fighting with/against fellow players (Orks), also trading teef with them, while trying to keep the number of different Ork-classes at economical levels (player-choice driven), while being harassed by NPC Imperial guards, Space Marines, Necrons, Eldars, random xenos, etc? :v:
Its weird seeing someone talk about Warhammer 40K and being able to say I know more about it than they do. I mean not by much, but still. Its a weird feeling.
Remember, the Emperor protects. Can't say that about gay space elves or warp spawn.

Meaning all the bad players will win through sheer numbers, much like the orkz themselves.
Everyone knows Imperial Guard is the bomb, don't need no special genes and power armor, don't need no space elf magic or space demon magic. Just your shitty cardboard armor and flashlight.
i like the Guard but FUCK when the hell are we going to see regiments other than the damn Cadians get any sort of representation in games and such? i'm getting tired of always seeing the same Mobile Infantrymen with green recolors, where are my Valhallans for Terra's sake [editline]5th January 2016[/editline] Cadians are to the Guard what Ultramarines are to the Astartes
He's actually pretty fucking close.
Close? He hit the fucking nail on the head here.

That's about all I can think of.
You're a bunch of fucking Heretics. Imperial Guard for life. Die for the Emperor or die trying.
Just remember, when the shine of your skeleton bound to a golden toilet leaves you, Grandfather Nurgle's embrace will be there, just as it always has been and always will be.
Slaanesh is the only Chaos God that really gets me, you know? Nothing but loud music 24/7
Naw, naw guys. Sisters of battle is where it's at.
I always had a deep affinity for the Dark Angels chapter
if i'm not mistaken, isn't the imperium fucked from the necrons, seeing as there are so many of them asleep underground that if they were all awaken they would have enough power to destroy humanity? the sheer number of Orkz only leads me to think that they're the strongest force to deal with.

Newer lore the Necrons are heavily fragmented and not a unified force anymore and not quite the inevitable steamroller they used to be.

They basically just took Tomb Kings and put them in space as oppose to techno-zombies with only a handful of Galactus/Cthulhu-esq leaders.

I mean fuck they even took the subtle egyptian theme and blew it the fuck up to in-your-face-levels.

[editline]5th January 2016[/editline] Also if you support any faction aside from being a follower of papa nurgle, you're actively supporting the eventual genocide of countless trillions of lifeforms.
The players are pretty insane, I once won a game against some kid and he threw this tank thing on the floor and stamped on it repeatedly... I just stood there like

There were pyramids and some ankh imagery, and of course the whole tomb slumber thing but it was overblown for whatever reason.
