Well if someone bases their opinion of a game from a speed run they are retarded.
tbh, that is true. I watched a speedrun of Fallout 1 once, and now I can't play the game normally anymore. I couldn't help it, I was curious
Well, he sure does it a lot cleaner than me, with godmode, infinite ammo and double mp5
Well, he sure does it a lot cleaner than me, with godmode, infinite ammo and double mp5
But our method sure is a lot more fun :v:
I feel very stupid, when I watch this. I could complete a mission in 2 minutes, but I took the longer way and completed it in like 20 min. And I still didn't get silent assasin. [editline]2nd January 2011[/editline] Where are the new hitman games anyway? They are awesome.
I like it how in Hitman if you push someone into a pool its an insta kill.
Number 7 was the best.
the best part about blood money is it really focuses on distractions. seems like a primary tactic is to distract everyone by something else and then do what he has to do
Speed runs, take away "the story/listening to the people/do all that jazz", which makes any game rather bland.
Yeah, for that playthrough. Nobody speed runs a game their first time. They might try to, but I doubt anybody has set a world record for fastest completion during their first time playing.
I've played this game a lot recently. But one thing I noticed that seems a bit unfair ab out calling this a speedrun is the fact that he used all of the unlockables for the weapons, rather than unlocking them as he went - a true speedrun would've started with nothing. Still, this run was quite impressive and would certainly have taken ages to figure out.
I just tried to do a speedrun on the till death do us part mission, I died really quickly
I tried the demo for this, at least I think it was this one, and I absolutely hated it. Stiff controls and a shitty story.
How does he get silent assassin when he blows bombs on so many missions? I thought that counted for noise.
How does he get silent assassin when he blows bombs on so many missions? I thought that counted for noise.
The noise probably has to be connected with him - since nobody saw that he was the one who did it, he got away. Also, I just noticed that this isn't the whole game - there are a few levels he didn't do, not just one.
I can barely beat a single mission, I'm always so tense and I try and wait for the exact moment to run through a room, I always thought the game was very sophisticated but this guy just runs around and shoots people in the back of the head right behind 3 security guards.
I only beat the Mississippi boat mission :(
The accuracy and timing, whoa.
never have played that game....but thats like some action movie shit right there
never have played that game....but thats like some action movie shit right there
The game is actually the whole opposite of an action movie.
Under 15 minutes? More like it would have taken him an unholy amount of time that we don't see him take because he doesn't show his failed attempts and he would have had to play it heaps to find out the quick ways of finishing it. Plus there's a lot of trial and error in this.
Blood Money is by far one of my favorite games of all time. Just because there is no other game like it. You have to really just run through the missions a few times to see where every thing is, and how best to deal with those things. True, you can do some wacky shit like he did in the videos, but there is no way you'll be able to do it on your first try, or many of the subsequent tries. It requires a lot of memorization and a lot of screw-ups to do it perfectly.

Why does he bring up the load game?
nice. this was a speedrun i could actually watch instead of la hurp glitch through the entire map. i enjoyed it. [editline]3rd January 2011[/editline]
Why does he bring up the load game?
to show that he has not saved the map before recording
I remember this guy from the Hitman forums, it was awesome. The another guy made some all zero's speedruns, which was absolutely amazing.
What's up with the guards in level 3? They just stand still at the door and he walks behind them without a reaction :v:
Do you know what a speedrun is?
I got the impression the whole game had to be in a single run. Would definitely be harder though.
That's some" Meet the Spy" shit right there.
to show that he has not saved the map before recording
It's to show that he's on the hardest difficulty because on that difficulty you can't save and that's what the message reads when he goes in that menu.
This is bullshit, he made so much god damned noise in some of these videos and he STILL got silent assassin!?
