They were always trash when live. Even when they were considered good (pre-Fergie days) their live performances were considered pretty bad.

It was embarrasing to watch. Could barely hear them over the crowd and probably tech issues. But I guess that's a plus for you guys. I couldn't watch the part where she's grinding over the guitarist and he's standing like a statue, looked awkward. But I did like what they were going for. Lights and this Tron future-ish look to it. Although maybe not original (I don't know) but I liked watching it that part of the show.

It seemed like the mic was cutting out. I really dont think the black eye peas did that bad of a job, there where a shit load of tech issues.
