They better fucking fix the animations for this shit. I hated how when someone got shot with a high-powered rifle they just fall to the floor instead of flying back a few feet. And how choppy the running/walking animations look. Sorry, but after MW3, I can't trust Infinity Ward with Call of Duty anymore.
I don't even know what is familiar about the story. The United States is in ruins and you are fighting against a militarily superior foe. I don't remember that in CoD.
why do you love COD so much. And "The United States is in ruins and you are fighting against a militarily superior foe." is the last 2 (3?) games.

I've played with worse.

that's not how physics works dude

CoD fans are definitely awful, but not the worst!
What amuses me as well is your username is a CoD username. that shit doesn't slip by me
Worst probably goes to either LoL, TF2 fans, or Battlefield fans.
I don't even know what is familiar about the story. The United States is in ruins and you are fighting against a militarily superior foe. I don't remember that in CoD.
Although it's a different take on the matter, sure, describing that to someone who didn't see the trailer would make them go, "What, a new Modern Warfare?" Considering MW2 had Russia swarming the U.S., wrecking shit and all and having it continue into MW3 before fighting back and finally resolving shit, it shouldn't come as a surprise.
why do you love COD so much. And "The United States is in ruins and you are fighting against a militarily superior foe." is the last 3 games.
no? do you even play CoD?
The last three games were Black Ops 2, Modern Warfare 3, and Black Ops. Modern Warfare 3 and Black Ops are about a small band of plucky westerners shooting easterners until they kill the bad guy at the end. Black Ops 2 comes close but the destruction is rather localized and you still spend the vast majority of the game attacking foreign countries as an American specs ops dude. This looks almost post apocalyptic.
does anyone actually play a CoD game because they're looking for an intriguing story to make them question the very morals of human life
if so they're bad at videogames
I haven't bought one since 4 but i was under the impression it was mainly MURICA GUN YEAH FUCK DA RUSKIES

I played most of them before 5 because that is what it had become, but they seem to give a shit time.

[editline]21st May 2013[/editline]
honestly is that a feature to even mention
you can have a dog
PUSHING THE ENVELOPE
EMOTIONALLY INVOLVED AS FUCK
[editline]21st May 2013[/editline]
this is infuriating
Finaly, a dog im not supposed to murder. (p.s. Why do they need advanced fish A.I.?)
A lot of video games don't need anything, (Why does Half Life 2 have blood decals?) they're added to the game to increase the level of detail and immersion.
You can just tell by how much they emphasize the emotional connection with the dog that it's probably going to die somewhere in the story
Cool, dog bombs.
Lies, all goddamn lies and statistics
:tinfoil:
i had no idea infinity ward was making a new ghost recon game
I bet the dog will show more emotion and act more like a human than the actual human characters. Also realized I'd heard some of the music before, some of it's this:

While it is a good song, i think it would of been better if they used music from the games.
This is clearly not how you impress people with a new game. Pretty much any modern game has sliding, but I'd be rather surprised if they added wall running without it being part of one of those scripted sequences they always make.
Why hasn't anyone made parodies of videos like this yet? Imagine jokes such as "it has immersive footstep noises" or "this game will bring the newest technology in objective markers".
Seems like most of Facepunch hated Call of Duty up until Black Ops II.
At least those models will be kinda cool when someone inevitably ports them to Garry's Mod
Seems like most of Facepunch hated Call of Duty up until Black Ops II.
Nah, we just mostly hate MW2 and MW3.
There's still good ones after MW1 no matter what people tell you. I liked BLOPS, and liked BLOPS2 even more. And I'd argue that WaW was my favorite CoD since the originals.
Seems like most of Facepunch hated Call of Duty up until Black Ops II.
I only really enjoyed WAW but that's probably because i was 13 when it came out so i was in the average age bracket for their players
I do remember thinking it was awesome finding out if you beat the game you got Nazi Zombies, more games should have a completely hidden random feature, the kind of feature that if someone told you before release you'd call them a liar
Did he say a NEW engine? Go on...
Lets not hope its just the current engine with some barely noticeable upgrades. I'll just wait till it comes out to actually judge it although haven't been a fan of Call of Duty ever since after 1st Modern Warfare.
Wait, what's the difference between sliding and dolphin dives?
Wait, what's the difference between sliding and dolphin dives?
Sliding allows you to go over low obstacles without breaking momentum.
Dolphin diving is a forward leap that leaves you in prone.
Soooo...
Everything?

How does sliding allow you to go over obstacles? And they both give you a little speed boost for a split second, and I'd imagine sliding would leave you in prone too

Oh my bad, I guess I didn't see the video correctly :v:
I thought it was sort of like the cover sliding that ME3 had.
In that case it IS dolphin diving. But to my knowledge, dolphin diving was only in the treyarch games.
This is just IW's "vision" of it.
So yeah, same thing.
I was thinking FEAR sliding.
