This episode has bad taste. You don't make fun of a hero like that.
maybe if you took off your "i miss billy mays" glasses, you'll see that they are only 'making fun of him' as a sign that they miss him just as much as anyone else
This episode has bad taste. You don't make fun of a hero like that.
Billy Mays wasn't a hero.
If Billy Mays was a hero I still would be fine with them making fun him.
Haha, glad to see that they pulled off Billy Mays without being too tasteless.
And I loved "It's the gayest show in the fuckin' world! GHOST HUNTERS!"
I thought it was a really good episode.
The show was actually really really good until the last few seasons. It had like, lessons, and morals, opinions and points and all the like and did in a satirical, ironic way that pointed out how stupid stuff was.
Now really it's just random humor, working current events into the episodes for the sake of doing it, or pointless and basic plotlines.
No, it's always been like this. Pop Culture is just different now. That's what South Park really is, a satirical portrayal of Pop Culture and reality.
"With just 2 easy steps I can climb over this seats and kick you right in the fucking balls."
Loved this episode.
"Hoooleee shit.... What de fuck am I mmweawing?"
Great episode.
Glad to see one old animated show not turn to shit as it ages.
*cough*Simpsons*cough*
Not that old compared to the Simpsons.
Give South Park another 7 years and see if it's just as good. 'Cause, I mean, the Simpsons was good around season 13.
Oh god why did they have to show Kyle's parents having sex?
Oh god why did they have to show Kyle's parents having sex?
what has been seen cannot be unseen

agreed!
Hm. It was okay. Don't South Park episodes usually have some sort of moral or lesson taught by the events of the episode's storyline and revealed at the end by a speech from a character? Didn't see that here. I'm disappointed with the voice actor they hired for Billy Mays, surely they could have done much better. The Ghost Hunters piss-taking was amazing, but some scenes just dragged on without a point and the humor just isn't as subtle or ironic as it used to be. I think they also could have exploited Billy Mays' appearances for more than just advertising his normal products. For example, the line he yells at another passenger with is amazing.
How many times can they make fun of Michael Jackson, anyway? He's been in a lot of episodes so far...
They've been dropping the speech and making it more implied. Why say it when you can show it? As far as the message in this show, there seemed to be a few, but their primary message seemed to be that the media and people aren't letting Micheal Jackson (and other celebrities) die. He keeps getting brought up, and there is constant coverage of anything that could pertain to him. The fact that Micheal gets brought up makes people bring up other celebrities who also died. For example, Billy Mays is always bound to get brought up by some random person when someone is talking about Micheal Jackson's death. The overall message is to stop talking about the celebrities death's and to focus on more important issues, like beauty pageants that star 8 year olds.
Oh, and the actor they had is actually their usual actor. He's done a lot of other voices on the show. But yeah it wasn't that well done, but I don't think they've ever done a great job mimicking a celebrity's voice.
The primary message was that you shouldn't eat something that makes you shit blood.
shut up billy mays
