Why can't we ever see female hitmen that look like say this:
[img_thumb]http://fc02.deviantart.net/fs50/f/2009/333/5/b/Female_Soldier_by_NeilBlade.jpg[/img_thumb]
Hell I'd even take something like this if they really need to show skin:

I don't think walking around in a military type uniform is a good idea for a hitman.
You misunderstand. I don't have anything against women attacking him, or women dressed as nuns to hide attack him.
My problem are those latex suits which are pretty much impossible to move in well and attract too much attention.
And wearing a tie is an extremely stupid idea, since it can be used to strangle your ass, but you don't see 47 in a clip on. In fact, as far as I know, suits aren't exactly the most comfortable for sneaking around and strangling people in.
Realism isn't exactly a very present thing in Hitman.
I'm mostly worried how they will handle the overall enviornment design of the game
Best part about Blood Money that made it such an incredible game, was just the huge variety of levels you played through. You'd literally go from a bannanna republic farm, to an opera house, to a casino, to a christmas party on a playboy mansion on top of a goddamn colorado snowy mountain, to marti gras, to a goddamn nightclub that was themed heaven and hell, and one of which was on the top floor of a skyscraper and the other was in the deep basement levels.
It was so brilliant and creative, that half the fun was discovering where you'd go next. The level design was excellent too - very open ended, with many different solutions to a simple problem - kill the target, get out, don't get caught.
If they just turn this into grimdark batman spinoff, where each level just takes you to the next linear area from the previous one, this game will be a failure in the eyes of blood money - almost universally hailed as the best Hitman game ever made.
I always felt totally immersed in that game; it was so exciting seeing where you'll go next because it was totally unpredictable. I'm not going to judge this game yet; but I really hope it's not a "fight your way through goons until you can kill the main target at the end of the level" type of game. Although the other Hitman games had that basic premise the openness and numerous possibilities left you wondering what to do in "X" situation. Some people who would just blast through until the end of levels never fully enjoy the experience. I can't tell you how many times I played the Suburbia mission in Blood Money. The combinations were endless!

Neither are latex nun outfits.

Well the point of the suit is that it blends in better. Think about a lot of the missions 47 does. It's usually in situations where suits wouldn't be that uncommon of a sight.

It is less assuming than paramilitary gear, you have that big nun outfit on top and none will be the wiser

This is very true, hence why cops wear clip ons.

Still though, I don't think they were exactly going for stealth approach while packing assault rifles, and an RPG, in broad day-light.
Sooooo... What was the point with having the nuns be dressed in skintight latex outfits? Just asking for context here.

There is absolutely no context here, just "rule of sexy" I guess.

What is wrong with that? They aren't 47 and they probably wanted to send a message or something.
they probably wanted to send a message or something.
What message does latex nuns send?
What message does latex nuns send?
hey guys hot chicks in our game buy it
What message does latex nuns send?
The message is sent by the RPG-7 and M4A1s silly. I don't get why people are having such a fucking cow over this, has any of you actually played the older games which had lewd assassins?
it's not 'stealth' i want to see; it's some hint of the open-nature of the game and making your own plans to carry out the hits
i must have played the vegas mission in blood money like 10 times or something. i worked out so many different ways you could do it. my favourite was pulling the fire alarm to get guards away from one quarry's room, getting inside, killing that quarry, then using his phone to call the second quarry to a spot where i can shoot him from the room i'm in
because so far all i've seen is dxhr crouching and shit cgi trailers
i don't disagree with you on dxhr crouching but i think those cgi trailers square enix make are pretty damn good

I can't think of many missions where it would be unacceptable for 47 to not wear formal attire, or at the very least, to not wear a tie, or some semi-formal shit.
Holy shit latex nuns! I'm sold!

Because there is no point for them to be dressed in latex. If they are going to be agile assassins then some normal sweatpants and a tank top would allow for much more freedom of movement over stiff and noisy latex.

Well most if not all of those situations had context, such as a party or something, so it kind of fit in.

Agreed, this is the point that I've been trying to make. To say these nuns are here for anything other than sex appeal is a blatant lie.

This too.

I don't think they need to be very agile and quiet if they are going to walk right into a parking lot and unload into a building.
When it comes to prisoners, 47 takes Nun.
This looks interesting though. Hopefully not too wacky. Like the weather though
Well most if not all of those situations had context, such as a party or something, so it kind of fit in.
Well that seems like a good point.

But why Latex? Why not combat gear, or sweat pants, why these overly complicated and impractical fetish outfits?
[editline]31st May 2012[/editline]
yeah because this mission is just so serious and realistic and
oh wait, no you people are just being prudish cunts who can't enjoy games
That's a party, it has context for the weird outfits.
Because there is no point for them to be dressed in latex. If they are going to be agile assassins then some normal sweatpants and a tank top would allow for much more freedom of movement over stiff and noisy latex.
and 47 doesn't need to wear a suit and tie for everything to give him the "assassin" image but he does
it doesn't matter

Maybe they chased Hitman from a party like that, I mean he is all bloodied at the start of that trailer right?
Maybe they chased Hitman from a party like that, I mean he is all bloodied at the start of that trailer right?
That... would actually make sense, I'd buy that if he had just done a job at a fetish club or something, suppose that's why we need more context for these videos.
(Also his name is Agent 47, not Hitman, just a heads up)
Maybe they chased Hitman from a party like that, I mean he is all bloodied at the start of that trailer right?
Possibly, but no matter how many justifications they give in world, this trailer itself is obviously for the sex appeal.

Yeah I know that is his name, I just like calling him that. This could possibly be supposed to be a mission like that one Contracts is all about [sp]where you get shot by a Franchise related police officer[/sp]
