New 'Hitman Absolution' trailer feat. sexy nun assassins

I thought it was a pretty cool trailer.
Granted, latex-wearing nuns is far off the previous Hitman games, but as a Hitman-fan (nearly SA on all missions), I just think it's pretty cool and interesting. It reminds me a bit of Metal Gear Solid and all the wackiness those games got. Should be interesting to see which direction the story will head off into.
Now, what I don't like, however, is how Agent 47 now looks like Chuck Greene.
They all were in context tho.
Bikini clad models working in a sub-par temporary cocaine factory. YEAH THAT'S TOTALLY IN CONTEXT.
It's like you just came in here to say "well, Absolution doesn't look like a stealth game!" It's like you haven't played like, any single hitman game ever.
I get what you mean, pretty much the same as with Sam Fisher's invisible NVG flood lights.
No, it's not. The barcode is an actual, real thing. The barcode exists. Sam fisher's invisiNVG is there because in darkness, not even players could see sam unless they had the light of the NVG's. That's why there's a weird PDA on his back too.
God.
Sexy nuns are the best nuns.
the starting mission seems so linear,
i mean really the starting mission of hitman blood money was ingenious and gave you so many choices in how you could get to the end but they just fucked it up with this

Nothing says secret assassin like tattooing the logo of the agency you work for on your arm.
I bet the nuns are some new batch of clone assassins.
Oh my god are you serious, what's with Facepunch and Hitman, or any game for that matter? I think a lot of you hope games are bad.
Well, of course. When the game turns out to be good they all look like fucking retards.
That's what happened when GTAIV got released for PS3 and Xbox360. I was in every thread spamming: PC VERSION!!!
And people were like, meh, never gonna happen.
Oh the memories.

The starting mission of Blood Money was pretty linear, and there weren't that many choices (compared to the actual missions) As it was just a tutorial to teach you how to play the game. This will probably be the case the Absolution too.
I think I haven't given my opinion on this new Hitman game yet. Mostly because I never played any of them and I think I should change that in the future. But so far from what I've seen it's a mix between Splinter Cell: Conviction and Batman: Arkham City plus some added stealth features. We have been shown only one small part of a level which was pretty linear. I only heard that Hitman games allowed a lot of approaches to solving your objectives, but I have no experience of my own.
This CGI trailer, like any other, shows limited view of how the game actually plays and I'm going to wait for more media releases of this game.
As a side note I like SC:C even though I know it's flaws.
"It feels much better to be in a clean suit"
2 Minutes later
"GOD FUCKING DAMNIT"

Yea, it is totally in context. Striping down women who work in drug manufacturing places is common to disable them from easily stealing product.

Didn't catch my sarcasm :v
also above poster make chuck greene bald and the resemblance is clear
Trailer was awesome, though it was weird to have sexy nuns in it instead of like regular agents from the Agency, would be cooler to have those guys from the first trailer
Well, i will await the reviews for this one
Why are people bitching about his face?
It's just a more detailed version of the Blood Money face:

I read this

and I don't like what I'm reading.
Dunno if it's a hands-on thing or whatever but I'm gonna keep my eyebrow raised until I try the game for myself
Yeah I know that is his name, I just like calling him that. This could possibly be supposed to be a mission like that one Contracts is all about [sp]where you get shot by a Franchise related police officer[/sp]
What intrigues me about the timeline is that, that mission in Contracts comes after the opera mission in Blood Money.
Fancy stuff. I should play the games 'chronologically' sometime.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was the case.
If this one will suck then meh. We still got 4 good Hitman games (H: Agent 47, H: Contracts, H:2, H:Blood Money)
... Fuck me, time to host my 4th Hitman Marathon

I cannot fathom why, myself, but I didn't like Hitman 2.
Something about the gameplay irks me. Which is strange because as far as I can see it's just like the other games

To be honest i played most levels with cheats. That was like the greatest thing ever, of course i still attempt to complete the mission without shooting to much but its great fun.
When you edit the setting in your .conf you can actually make it so when you start the game you are greeted with a screen with all the levels on it, then you can just click any level and play it.
I liked Hitman 2 the best. Gameplay wasn't as refined as Blood Money, but hot damn the levels and locales were epic in the genuine sense of the word. Globetrotting assassin. Actually they should just do a remake of that game, with the mechanics of Blood Money.

Nice clothes there, 47. So fresh.
47 has swag
This is looking completely different from the previous games. I'm not looking forward to this.
It's a trailer, stop spergin.
Yea, it is totally in context. Striping down women who work in drug manufacturing places is common to disable them from easily stealing product.
Another amazing fact from the BusterBluth Encyclopedia of Thin Air. That's plain bullshit.

*Faith in the game restored*
Welp time to pre-order
That's the kind of gameplay video I was looking for. Not sure how it holds to the previous games but so far it looks great.

Yeah alright that's more like it.
Eyebrow is lowering slightly. But I'm still not sure.
I'll need to play this for myself. :V

Is this enough to stop you lot from being fucking idiots yet?
Another amazing fact from the BusterBluth Encyclopedia of Thin Air. That's plain bullshit.
I shouldn't have said common because that suggest there is some sort of statistical evidence to back it up. But stripping down someone who is working in a drug lab is an effective way to prevent stealing and is no doubt practiced.

That video did restore a lot of faith in this game for me, but I refuse to admit that having doubts was stupid. Up until the release of that video, nearly all of the marketing that was put out showed little of the Hitman we know and love.

Having doubts isn't bad but some of the most vocal 'fans' have been acting pretty stupid. I assume most of us are pretty dedicated gamers. We should see through most of the marketing material that is presented to us and dig to stuff like developer interviews, info on features and stuff like that. If you did that you'd conclude, long before the above gameplay trailer, that Hitman would follow much of the same formula, but it'd also feature a more actionpacked marketing strategy to appeal to a bigger audience. I would say they could've made it a bit clearer from the beginning, but most of the premature criticism going around about this series was retarded.
People get their jimmies rustled for no good reason nowadays.
