When games like this give me a choice, I tend to avoid unnecessary violence. I know games are supposed to be escapism, but GTA has always made me question my actions compared to games built around choices.
I always feel that way when there's some characterization or interaction, but I also take metro buses and drive them down packed Algonquin sidewalks because those NPCs mean nothing
Just bought a PS3 just so i can play this, better be worth it!
i hope you mean you preordered the gtav ps3 bundle right?
What a dick to shoot the cashier though
you don't leave witnesses
I'm so happy you can switch roofs on a convertible vehicle now.
you could always rob people (at least I remember doing it in vice city and having a huge fucking shootout) but it's nice that they have animations
i actually felt bad when he shot the store owner though :(
Gta V has Geto Boys? Now I want this even more.
"Grove Street, Motherfuckers!" -CJ (at some point i'm sure)

They mean nothing until they're ragdolling through the air and wrapping around objects at 30 miles per hour. Then they become something.... Something wonderful

I do, and I feel like a potential school killer when I mow down people in GTA.

Just let it out in the game world.
So you don't have to let it out in the real world.

this is a free country, you can't tell me what to do!
You will do as i say or i am turning this car around!

And what? Run the pedestrians down on the other sidewalk?
That animation is a great addition. I bet it'll add to the tension quite a bit when he's faffing about with the cash register and you don't know when a cop might stroll past and notice.
I love the colour scheme too, the media so far has shown off colourful sunny scenes which is great, but it looks like it was overcast on that day - it looks duller but not overly washed out like GTA4.
I wonder if you can shoot him and then take cash from the register yourself.
xD
Actually annoyed me that he shot the cashier
he sounded so scared
fuck that player seriously
Hello friend!
I wonder if you can shoot him and then take cash from the register yourself.
watched a stream where a guy tried robbing a store and the cashier whipped out a shotgun
when that happens, yes, you can kill the cashier and take the money yourself
Are there any ways to non-lethally take out someone while doing this?
I wouldn't mind a non-violent crime spree (as much as giving people concussions or restraining them over killing them constitutes as non-violent, that is)

Maybe you could run into the store, beat up the cashier, then grab the money for yourself and split?

In the vid, the cashier had already gave him the cash before shooting him, so killing him was entirely uneeded.
When a Rockstar employee sees us feeling sorry for the very thing we usually laugh at and hate then he will finally, and without doubt be able to say: "Mission accomplished."
I just watched a YouTube video and the player robbed an ammunition by coming in with his gun already drawn. After he killed the guy (he was shooting at him) he shot at the cash register and 400$ came out. I'm assuming this can also be done with clothing stores and other shops too.

I don't like running over people with my car in GTA
not because of the people, its because it damages my car and slows it down
ohhhhh shit that soundtrack
