A lot of people seem to think that if you don't 'search for it you won't get it'. Which is 99% false because of just how pervasive a lot of shit gets in tumblr.
the problem is that the types of people on tumblr are ridiculously infectious, to the point where nearly any fandom on there will likely have some portion or form of it completely TAINTED - anywhere from music to art to movies to anything, really. i've ended up following multiple blogs that i thought were cool only to see them reblog bullshit over and over. it sucks because unfollowing just isn't enough, especially if you yourself are active and are a blog that people follow. as someone who had an okay personal/music-ish blog, all it really takes is some exposure and sure enough people start coming at you for dumb bullshit i mean fuck, i got "called out" twice for saying 'nigga' on a post where i was talking to an irl friend. i'm a FUCKING PUERTO RICAN living in NEW YORK. Shit

I'm following 733 blogs and I never see this kind of shit. Granted 99% of them are based around pictures of nature.
I like Undertale. The Fanbase can be annoying. The hate base can also be annoying. This happens to everything I love. Why. Also I swear I bring this up every time Tumblr is mention but you only see the dumb stuff if you follow the people making dumb stuff, like 95% of what I see is good art and interesting stuff like retro photos ect because of the people I follow.
It's like people complaining about idiots on their timeline on facebook.
I have to go out of my way to find "sjw" posts on tumblr dot com just like any other social media/blogging platform
I find my time on Tumblr rather peaceful and silliness free. Just gotta be mindful of which people and which tags you choose to follow. I, err, straight up don't follow any tags. I never really see anything about 'sjw' or 'undertale' while there, unless I go out of the way to find them.
It's almost like this is a broad generalization made as a joke or something.
Undertale is good but the fanbase make me want to shit a third world nation
Imagine if you had a 1 million + view youtube video on it. And everyday the fanbase made comments. [sp]And also you named the character Hitler so tumblr didn't like you ;_;[/sp]
