Uh, you can just contact blizzard and they will reset them for you.. :downs: (As far as I know)
This is true. Happened to me. And They got all my things back.
Clearly the best solution to your wow addict boyfriend is to delete his account and not talk to him about his addiction.
I guess it must feel somewhat like losing your house as a homeowner because your wife set it ablaze. You spent enormous amounts of time on it to get it the way it was before it was reduced to ash.
I play WOW, but I wouldn't freak out and break shit if my character got deleted. I'd just call support to restore it for me :geno:
I'm calling a fake on that. I really don't know anybody that would punch a monitor especially a WoW player.
I've raised my fist to my monitor but I'd never hit it. It costs too much to replace, but if I had enough money I'd be doing it left and right.
It's stupid to break your monitor though, too much money is lost for just a few seconds/minutes of raging.
I hate how all these 'girlfriends' think its perfectly acceptable to destroy or delete characters/accounts/xbox's/whatever and that they will still be their boyfriend afterwards.
there are several things in a gamers world that is sacred
one thing is his WoW characters
I felt bad thinking "No no no no" when she started deleting everything, even though I know it's easily restored. I would be mad, but probably not punch my monitor like that.

Exactly. Why waste your punch on the monitor? it did nothing. Save it for the girlfriend :D
I thought it was funny how the music kept playing through it all.
I punch my monitor from time to time when i rage. Mainly MW2 that does it for me, or GMod HL2.exe error.
I would NEVER punch my monitor. It's way too valuable for that.
I punch people instead.
I wouldn't let my girlfriend around my PC, let alone anyone.
-snip-
Oh god, i regret it

Yeah, just because you're his girlfriend doesn't give you the right to fuck with the things he owns.
Made me laugh. Anybody who's willing to waste that much time of their life playing a video game and blowing off relations with friends and relatives deserves to have their account wiped and their monitor smashed.
Why? It's a hobby, if it makes him happy then no has a right to judge.

Yea, I got a bad feeling when I saw that, thinking if it was my character. If it were me I would probably rage, not just because of the characters(which in the end, really are replaceable), but because of the betrayal, that someone that you trusted got into your shit and fucked it up.
I love how she leaves what I assume to be her character on the account.
Also, he shouldn't have demolished his monitor. He should've slapped the shit out of his girlfriend on camera. RUIN MY VIRTUAL LIFE!? I'LL RUIN YOUR SOCIAL LIFE!
No, not really. I kid, I kid...
Oh lordy. That freak out at the end was amazing.
