I don't really have an interest in playing this game, as I have already read the books. If you haven't read the books go read "The Fall of Reach" which basically is everything that happens here. [sp]The girl dies, your friend dies[/sp]
That was awesome but the the suit looked like plastic.
Halo... By far... Single most... Worse advertisements in gaming history.
There are games with even worse ads.
Right; and wrong..
The SIII's were injected with certain illegal compounds during the augmentation
process that caused them to rely more on their primitive, "lizard mind" during priods of extreme exertion. The side effects of said compounds could also cause mental degeneration in the SIII's. Which would make them extremely violent, and insane. To counteract these side effects, the SIII's had to have regular injections of other chemicals that would keep them from going bat shit insane.
tl;dr version:
Spartan III's were injected with stuff. They have to be injected with more stuff every so often so they don't go crazy.
Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! Nylund can eat a donkey penis for this atrocity of science!

As I said, the books are terrible, and I dearly hope they just throw it out and do their own thing. (They have already indicated continuity with the books doesn't really concern them.)
This is the Bungie story. That other thing is basically fanfic.

And if you recall, Blomkamp was going to make a Halo movie because he directed the Halo 3 live action trailers. However Fox and Universal didn't want to give it as big of a budget as they thought it needed, and so it was put on hold and replaced with D9.
And that's how I became a spartan. Want a chocolate?
He looked too young..and he didn't really look beefy enough. I know they aren't the normal Spartans but still...
These guys are suppose to go through loads of modifications, that are so rigorous that usually a bunch of them die from complications.
He looked like your average guy..just super serious looking and bald.

Spartan III's were much younger(teenagers) than Spartan II's such as the Master Chief. Their augmentation process was also a lot less risky and had a very low failure/mortality rate because the UNSC wanted to make as many of them as they could. The quality of the soldier was less than a Spartan II because the III's were disposable and mainly used for suicide missions.

Exactly, the SIIIs were disposable Spartans; for when normal marines and ODSTs aren't enough, but you simply don't have enough Spartan IIs.

Awww hell naw.
You did not just insult the Halo books. The Halo books came before the game. So basically saying the books are shitty is saying the game is shitty too, which it is, 'cept for Halo: CE.
I will tell you this. They are not fanfic. Without them, Halo would be nothing.
Halo 1 was great, 2 was good, 3 was 2 with better graphics, ODST was 1 with silencers. At this point I'm just tired of the Halo series.

No PIXAR makes the best movies, Disney just shits their name onto it.

Excuse me while I go die laughing.
In the meantime you can dig out whatever shit hole told you that, I'd be interested.
