I don't think anyone in this thread is advocating fat shaming unless we're just blanketing any sort of negative opinion about obesity as fat shaming.
You can call it fat shaming or negative opinion. My point is, don't make fat people feel even worse than they already are. This attitude of "it's their problem, they should deal with it" is not gonna accomplish anything besides making them feel alone and rejected when they could need your support. If you really don't want to see fat people around you, you better help them get through it instead of hoping they will "inspire themselves"
its not your fatness we dislike, its your ability to reject reality
Her mass induced selfgenerating gravity field warps not only spacetime, but reality in itself By the way, I am fat, but losing weight so my hate against those people is pretty strong.
This is one issue where the middle ground really is the right answer. Don't fucking bully or shame people for being fat, that doesn't work, and it actually discourages them. All it does is make you feel superior, which, btw, you probably aren't and are just a cunt. and also Don't delude yourself, it's not healthy to go beyond slight dad-belly for men or "curvy" for women. Some people will find it beautiful; most won't, and you'll find it very difficult to change that.
after eating half a pizza last night and watching this video i need to lose some weight. broke over 270 the other day. i'm not walking for 8 hours a day for work like i was, i can't keep eating chinese food and drinking beers every day.

I'm lucky enough that my girlfriend had no type to begin with so she began to love my stomach for the comfort and such. Ive been overweight my.whole life. Its probably the worst I've been now as all my weights starting to focusing on my gut. Its not a nice feeling when all your favorite shirts need to constantly be pulled down and flannels have to be worn open because of it. My issue wasn't even extreme eating habits, it was because I never exercised. When I joined wrestling in high school I lost a lot or weight but the intensity from the sport left me depressed and it slingshotted me the other way. I don't accept my weight or life style because it's a scary feeling. I'm not even the biggest out of all my friends but I am the heaviest. I get scared to eat because I worry if it's gonna be the meal that sends me into critical health conditions. The worst feeling is just trying to do day to day things, my walking is different I can't bend over to tie my shoes without looking like I don't know how to do it. I'm completely loved for my body but I don't feel it's right for me to be this size
TED talks needs to fucking stop lol
A great parody. And even funnier considering TEDx had an actual talk just like that...
Ultimately you're just doing yourself more harm and no one will feel sorry when you have a heart attack. Rather prove others that you can come out on top despite the hate. That will show them a lot more than dying early.
Hate can lead, so far i know into three options. 1: They will prove that they can lose weight. 2: They ignore it and keep moving on. 3: They rebell like beliving fat acceptance. If we look at this case there are 2/3 chance they will do nothing about it and/or make it worse and would suggest that mayby trying a other approach before hating. A person wants to lose weight is the most effective, give them good selfconscious by begin positive with them. Am not wanna keep repeating this, but if you wanna blame them thats it's their fault and bla bla... Fine do that, but don't expect that they will listen and actully will do as they are told. Remember, be smart how you do it, we humans are pathetic, selfish and complicated creature after all.
C'mon. We can't be posting shitty TEDx talks witthout posting glorious MDE
fuck off duct you sniped me between refreshing
Honestly I would not shame someone because they are fat, however I will never defend someone that somehow thinks that being fat is healthy and something that is perfectly fine to be. Shaming someone because they're fat is wrong for a number of reasons, one of them being that the person might have some personal issues (mental health issues or something) and for some reason finds comfort in food. This woman though, sends out the wrong message.
She's literally wheezing by the end. Ffs, it's simply not healthy. It's okay to accept that yes, you're fat - but only because that's the first step to fixing the problem.
Don't shame them until you see them abusing their kids by passing off their shitty lifestyle as healthy.
