Well, all *that* aside, I recorded some more Master Levels of DOOM 2 last night - choppin' that up now. :3
Neat.

I would like to give you a question.
How did you get so popular recording yourself playing games? Because how you look? Or by creating music? I'm curious....

Im guessin a bit of each.
Also, he did start threads for his video series before the megathread, that would probably help.
Word of mouth, linking other people, it all branches out you see.
It's more convenient that he made it. He's the content provider after all.
I don't understand why this is a problem.
self promotion is usually looked down upon in society
maybe you would have learned that if you- well you probably know

No its not.
Now please, shut up and get out.

I don't see the problem with this. Clearly these forums enjoy his videos since there's tons of threads dedicated to them. So why shouldn't the creator be able to make a thread where he can post them as soon as he can? He's not asking anything in return, and there's less hamst3r threads everywhere.
Also, how would anyone find anything if self promotion was frowned upon?
Got hooked on your videos when I watched your Alan Wake series, finally got a megathread!
I watch all of your lets plays when they come out
and i still find new ones daily
do you make them in secret
Aw yeah, breakfast and Hamster.
Stop, Hamst3r time

Lovin' the doom playthrough but the music is getting a bit repetetive, i heard you could change it manually somehow.

Indeed you can. Unfortunately, I sat down and recorded all of this before I knew that. So, the final* two videos will have the same music. :P
*final in that I think I have a more interesting idea than more ML4DOOM2.
You know what would be awesome hamster? A remix of the doom song. I've seen you do awesome things with alan wake, even making a rather catchy short rap with it, so with something amazing like the song from doom, it'd blow our collective minds I bet. (I would even pay for it when it came out if you sold it)

Unrelated to the playthrough stuff, but ezmuze 2.0 is out!
ezmuze being the XBOX 360 music sequencer thing a friend and I put together. This is the second one.
Here's where you can buy it:

(It's also on the dashboard in the Indie Games section)
And here are some videos about it, starting with a short outdated trailer thing:

I'm excited that it's done and people can finally use it. :D
Best thing from Hamster was in Octodad.

Also, is ezmuze coming to the PC at all? If it is, maybe you could even get it on Steam through the Greenlight thing.
I think it'd sell pretty well too, I can't think of any other easy to use music making programs on the PC
^DOOM!^
