Good. We at least saw that there was more than just trenches (though good to see those too), but it'll dissuade the perception that that's all there was to WW1.

idk i saw some weird steel masks in the trailer did they use that
it kind of looks like wwi in a parallel universe or something but i dont know shit about history so maybe it did look like this

It was real (but not particularly common), used by soldiers which needed to take a position above the trench line, mostly just snipers.
We'll probably see a fair amount of obscure WW1 tech and inaccurate representations of things (like said steel masks, in reality they wouldn't stop a bullet dead on, but in the game we might see it offering some higher level of protection), but I don't believe they've shown anything which didn't actually exist
