A: You do not know what the word infrastructure means. B: Hundreds of thousands of citizens are desperate for high-wage jobs. Low-wage jobs like construction rely heavily on minimum wage (or below) labor because we spend a LOT of money on designs and materials and not very much on the actual labor costs. If we were to forgo cheap labor then we could not create new jobs such as positions in manufacturing, power and refineries. C: Millions of legal American citizens such as yourself have no idea what it's like to be in such a position that you are willing to risk life and limb for a better life for yourself and your family. Anyone who is determined enough to take that many risks just because they want to live and love in this country? They're more American than you or I will ever be.
A: Kinda dumb to tell someone they don't know the meaning of a word on the internets. 'Cause even if they didn't, dictionary.com is only 15 keystrokes away. B: And from what fantasy do you derive that hundreds of thousands of citizens are desperate for high-wage jobs? Are you aware of the poverty level of the United States? Are you aware of how many people can not find a job, period? Unless you have a college education or an assload of pre-existing career experience, you will most likely not be able to find a job in most states at the moment. If you ever do, you have zero job security, because you will be fired within a few months for no reason other than that employers know that there is an infinite resource of manpower just waiting for the first minimum-wage job that opens up. While the millions of convenience stores, construction crews, et cetera are saturated with below-minimum-wage illegal employees. Yes, the way it is, I'm sure many legal American citizens would actually agree to be paid below minimum wage; but employers know that this is not feasible, as a legal citizen could easily sell them out for their illegal work ethic and profit, while illegal immigrants obviously will not and can not. C: I'm not an American citizen. No, illegal immigrants are not "American," they are idiots and outlaws. They could come to the country legally, if they didn't have extensive criminal records and if they wanted to live an honest and productive lifestyle. If they weren't mostly criminals and leeches they wouldn't be entering the country illegally to begin with.
These fuckers need to get a job.
Mexicans are scary. If these people weren't so stupid they would be protesting indians, who are REALLY taking your jobs. :) i love white trash

The English should come back and help.... :v: and yes, i am English. By the way, these guys are like the West Boro Baptist Church...yeah...look them up >_>
The English should come back and help.... :v: and yes, i am English. By the way, these guys are like the West Boro Baptist Church...yeah...look them up >_>
the only reason why these guys are dick is because theyre nationalists. "Our Country" go back to "Your Country", and "where is your pride?" your race, and where you were born does not make it "your country" or "their country." Your country is where you choose to live, where you are happy to live and to support, and possibly where you choose to settle down to raise a family or establish your life.
If they weren't mostly criminals and leeches they wouldn't be entering the country illegally to begin with.
I'm not going to read the rest of that given I have to hone in on this nugget of dumb. You do realize that the vast majority of illegal immigrants are day laborers, not criminals? You do realize the implications of claiming an entire ethnic group is comprised of criminals? You do realize that it costs several thousand dollars to be given prolonged entrance to the US after years on a waiting list, money and time that starving and impoverished individuals and families do not have? I suppose given you aren't a citizen you don't fucking understand our immigration policies. And furthermore, if you are not a United State Citizen, by your own logic: Shut the fuck up. [editline]07:03PM[/editline] Go to a thread about your own country, foreigner.
It took us 14 years before we got our citizenship.

[editline]07:03PM[/editline] Go to a thread about your own country, foreigner.
Lol, the irony of saying that illegal citizens are not criminals. Yeah they kinda are, that's why they're illegal. Sure, if you don't have a few hundred dollars for a US visa or green card, that can be a problem. But legal entry into the country is free assuming you have a passport. If you don't, then you can QQ about it, because you obviously have no concern with respecting the laws and policies of the country you're seeking to leech from, ergo you do not belong there to begin with and likely won't respect any of the other laws of civilised society, either. You do realise that day laborers can also be criminals? The two are not mutually exclusive. I never once even came anywhere near the suggestion that an entire ethnic group is comprised of criminals, that's a ridiculous straw-man argument you have created to bash my perfectly rational and acceptible perspective. A pathetic attempt at trying to make illegal immigration look like a noble and heroic thing. Go to a thread about my own country? rofl, okay, I did laugh at that..
B: I'm willing to bet that there are many jobs going in the toilet cleaning industry. You don't need degrees to scoop poop.
I'm willing to bet there aren't. Between illegal immigration and affirmative action, anything below college-level entry point is almost entirely consumed.
I'm from fucking Texas, and I'll tell you what, Mexicans get way more shit than anyone deserves. Especially when it's from people who cherish their German, British, Italian, or especially Irish heritage... Those same people whose ancestors were also given needless shit. And, yeah, our businesses that we cherish for being so American DO thrive off of wage slavery, no matter from Mexico, or China, or fucking Zimbabwe. And, yeah, even wage slavery at the hands of a bunch of ungrateful gringos is actually BETTER than what these immigrants are coming from in Mexico. Not to mention, most of them are legal anyway.
hahaha that's hilarious. Cameraman is awesome.
I fucking hate Americans. And I live in America.
I fucking hate idiots. And I live on Earth.
If you don't, then you can QQ about it,
uhh you do realize passports do not grant long-term residence, and it's a lot more than a few hundred dollars when you account for the decades spent on waiting lists, the tests you are charged hundreds of dollars each to take, the summons and various fees for the smallest of things like paperwork. Let me put this in perspective for you, kid. A minor traffic violation ticket costs about $30 dollars in this country. Now putting aside that $30 dollars is more than a lot of people in Central America make in a month, the Processing Fee for the ticket is upward of $60. We do that for EVERYTHING. There is a fee. For EVERYTHING. Oftentimes the fee is more expensive than whatever the fuck you're applying for. This goes about a thousand times more for immigration.
I fucking hate Americans. And I live in America.
the same for me...

Gee they've been living in Mexico for 30-40 years and now it's all of a sudden some huge emergency to illegally enter the US; and once they're there they'll just be hunted down by the government instead of some dealer they owe money to. It's beyond me why you or anyone would support that bullshit. I guess it's probably just because you wanna stick it to whitey, right? Don't like the way our nation is run, then don't come to live here, it really is that simple. As I said in my first or second post, the United States of America is not the only country bordering Mexico. They can escape to South America instead.
No you cannot. That isn't how this works. You cannot own any permanent residence in the US until you are permitted. Immigrants cannot afford ten years of rent in a motel room. Furthermore you cannot hold a job in the US until you are a resident. [editline]08:22PM[/editline] And South America has no more job opportunities than Central America. [editline]08:23PM[/editline] FYI you know absolutely nothing about how immigration works. Don't like what an Educated American knows about his own country's policy? Go to a different thread you fucking foreigner.
I guess it's probably just because you wanna stick it to whitey, right?
you know, if you're gonna include dumb shit like that in your posts this isn't really worth the time
I don't think he realize how incredibly racist he is being to me.
And South America has no more job opportunities than Central America.
LOL wow. Strange considering many countries there are first-world nations much like the US.
Don't like what an Educated American knows about his own country's policy? Go to a different thread you fucking foreigner.
lahl, foreigner. Yepp I'm a foreigner to teh interwebz! GTFO my interwebz!
I don't think he realize how incredibly racist he is being to me.
I'm being racist to you? Define "racism," because everyone's definition is vastly different than the next guy's.
what the fuck?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brazil
It's called sleep in a car. Which is probably what you already do when you are from a third-world ghetto.
Please go sleep in your car until you are a US Citizen for this thread.
LOL wow. Strange considering many countries there are first-world nations much like the US.
Uhh the vast majority of Central and South America have extreme poverty levels, unruly differences between the gentry and the proletariat and even stricter immigration standards than the US.
lahl, foreigner. Yepp I'm a foreigner to teh interwebz! GTFO my interwebz!
Not a US citizen. Your opinion doesn't matter.
I'm being racist to you? Define "racism," because everyone's definition is vastly different than the next guy's.
I am a Mexican.
Please go sleep in your car until you are a US Citizen for this thread.
No clue what that means, either conceptually or grammatically.
Uhh the vast majority of Central and South America have extreme poverty levels, unruly differences between the gentry and the proletariat and even stricter immigration standards than the US.
Oh boo hoo. I thought you just wanted a better lifestyle for you and your family, now you only settle for luxury? Like you think you're going to have a better life in the US as a nearly-homeless person than you will as one in French Guyana?
Not a US citizen. Your opinion doesn't matter.
lahl well isn't that rayciss? Buu huuu Q-Q-Q-Q-Q-Q-Q
I am a Mexican.
I assumed, but how was I rayciss against Mexicans at any point? My criticism is all of illegal immigrants, not even the ones only from Mexico, so your abusive use of the "racism card" is just laughable.
"THERE ISN'T EVEN ANY FILM IN THAT." Fucking old people.
Although the racism is through the roof the cameraman is also an asshole as seen in this video he gets asked a question not yelling at and all he can reply is with an intelligence joke
Oh boo hoo. I thought you just wanted a better lifestyle for you and your family, now you only settle for luxury? Like you think you're going to have a better life in the US as a nearly-homeless person than you will as one in French Guyana?
I'm not an immigrant, jackass.
I assumed, but how was I rayciss against Mexicans at any point? My criticism is all of illegal immigrants, not even the ones only from Mexico, so your abusive use of the "racism card" is just laughable.
This thread is about hispanics immigrating into the United States. You said they're all criminals. 2+2=racism.
I'm not an immigrant, jackass.
I never suggested that you were. I am not therein using the pronoun "you" to mean you, yourself, Lankist, the Facepunch forum user. I am using it in a vague sense in reference to illegal immigrants in general.
This thread is about hispanics immigrating into the United States. You said they're all criminals. 2+2=racism.
No, it's about hispanics illegally immigrating into the United States. And they all are criminals. They are criminals even by the very name they are identified with. Your claim is like saying that not all rapists are criminals. If an illegal immigrant is not a criminal then he is not an illegal immigrant. So really your only possible argument is that illegal immigrants are technically a race (they are). But in that case so are racists, so that is a self-defeating argument.
