I never suggested that you were. I am not therein using the pronoun "you" to mean you, yourself, Lankist, the Facepunch forum user. I am using it in a vague sense in reference to illegal immigrants in general.
So because I am a Mexican means I am an illegal immigrant?
What the fuck are you high?
technically they aren't criminals till they are given a trial

Er, true, but on the other hand they also aren't illegal immigrants until they're given a trial.

That's fucking retarded. There shouldn't be a limit on freedom of speech because someone is racist, that goes against the idea of liberty in every way.

They are the old people who sit at the border watching for illegal immigrants. It's funny that conservatives name themselves shit like the minutemen and tea party when they have no idea what those things are actually about.
B: And from what fantasy do you derive that hundreds of thousands of citizens are desperate for high-wage jobs? Are you aware of the poverty level of the United States? Are you aware of how many people can not find a job, period? Unless you have a college education or an assload of pre-existing career experience, you will most likely not be able to find a job in most states at the moment. If you ever do, you have zero job security, because you will be fired within a few months for no reason other than that employers know that there is an infinite resource of manpower just waiting for the first minimum-wage job that opens up. While the millions of convenience stores, construction crews, et cetera are saturated with below-minimum-wage illegal employees. Yes, the way it is, I'm sure many legal American citizens would actually agree to be paid below minimum wage; but employers know that this is not feasible, as a legal citizen could easily sell them out for their illegal work ethic and profit, while illegal immigrants obviously will not and can not.
C: I'm not an American citizen. No, illegal immigrants are not "American," they are idiots and outlaws. They could come to the country legally, if they didn't have extensive criminal records and if they wanted to live an honest and productive lifestyle. If they weren't mostly criminals and leeches they wouldn't be entering the country illegally to begin with.
If they were 'leeches; and 'criminals' then they wouldn't be stealing GUD PAYIN AMERIKAN JAWBS. That's the problem with your argument: They come here for a better life, end of story. Do some citizens of America and abroad become criminals? Yes, poverty leads to crime. Does that mean illegal immigrants are 'bad people'? No.
That's fucking retarded. There shouldn't be a limit on freedom of speech because someone is racist, that goes against the idea of liberty in every way.
I totally agree, the whole concept of limiting free speech in any way is compeltely asinine. To ban the freedom to express only one opinion or another does nothing but suggest the fear of one influential party or another. Take "anti-semitism" for example; you can trash Christians all you want and that isn't "anti-christendom." Yet, in some countries you would be breaking the law just saying that you dislike jews, in fact in those countries I would likely be given a red flag next to my name just for publishing this, especially with the Khrysi Avgi icon and whatnot, but I digress. Banning, for example, "anti-semitism," and then labelling any and every argument that might offend some jew somewhere at some point as "anti-semitism," and therefore a hate-crime, is just deplorable. Limiting freedom of speech does nothing but show fear.

Everyone likes to hide behind 'freedom of speech'. It has been abused and misused. In a new-day and age, hateful and violent remarks should not be classified as a citizen's freedom to sputter from their lips. There are anti-Christian people too, but we just call them Democrats.

But they are and criminals. As I expressed earlier, one must wonder why there are so many thousands of illegal immigrants in the nation if not because they would come to the border, the border patrol would look up their record, and arrest them on the spot. They are leeches because they come here illegally so they don't have to pay the costs of citizenship as everyone else here does, they are housed illegally so they don't have to pay taxes and costs that everyone else here does, and yet they still take advantage of the benefits and health care system that's paid for by legal citizens, for legal citizens.
These people should be considered outlaws here, thieves, often little more than parasites chipping away at the integrity of our economy, country and general quality of life that we and those before us worked so hard to establish. Perhaps they are not "bad people" inherently, but illegal immigration is a severe crime and should be considered one. It's astonishing (on one hand; but on the other, somewhat predictable) how many people here actually support this garbage. I mean did any one of you watch the video and think, "wow, look at those rayciss-azz whiteys yelling at that decent, intelligent, well-spoken and rational young Hispanic"? Because if you did, you're pathetic.

Poverty forces people into conditions where the alternatives are sometimes lack-luster. A hundred people maintaining a better life is well worth the trade than in increase in taxes or a loss in the amount of video games I'm able to buy ect.
Also, we only cite them as 'criminals' because that is what we know. African American Slaves than ran away to freedom were too considered to be criminals, as were the Jews in Germany and good 'ol John Peter Zenger. Our concept of 'justice' changes over years; wanting to provide for your family and risking your life to get it is the epitome of the American dream, these people are not criminals.

Why is Illegal-Immigration such a severe crime? They may take American jobs but they are also key to the way our nation's economy is set up. Why is it such a severe crime? What are the negative aspects? I can think of two. 1.) They don't pay taxes, and 2.) They take jobs.
For the first one, plenty of people don't pay taxes. Churches don't have to pay taxes, is that a heinous crime? They get profit and don't get jack jacked. Big whigs and fat cats send money to off-shore banking accounts. Is that a 'heinous' crime? Sure, bad. Severe? Not really.
For the second. during a protest of a labor union, are 'scabs' bad people? Working for less to support their family than the common man wants to?
Desperation forces people into situations. I think we need to change our concept of law.

Both sides are fucking morons for wasting their limited time on this planet arguing over the appearance and capacities of carbon bodies.
i really hope our generation doesn't turn out like that
Both sides are fucking morons for wasting their limited time on this planet arguing over the appearance and capacities of carbon bodies.
A "carbon body" would be pretty black in appearance, unless its molecular structure allows light to pass through, and its capacity would depend entirely on its shape. The maximum capacity with limited materials would be achieved with the shape of a sphere.
As a Mexican American living in Pasadena, California (no, I did not see the protesters) I feel sick after reading the comments and watching the videos on here.

No, I like the US tyvm.

I am not funny. I am boring/somewhat nerdy (yes, Mexicans can be nerdy).
Now I feel I must be funny, when I am not.
Its not like our infrastructure thrives on cheap and content labor or anything
My labor is not cheap. My major at UCLA is chemical engineering and I do volunteer work at Caltech, which is run by JPL (Mars Rover capital).

I am not scary.
Although the racism is through the roof the cameraman is also an asshole as seen in this video
I agree. Avoiding both these types of people leaves me as a loner. Most of my friends are Asian, Indian, and European exchange students (not Americanized, yet).
Sigh.

Yes, but I dissent that we have no responsibility to make sacrifices to "fix" the countries and lifestyles of others, as we seem to be constantly doing, while our own nation is collapsing into chaos itself.
But if you're going to risk your life for your family, as you put it so nobly, where is the line drawn? One could similarly conclude that any crime could be justified as a righteous effort to benefit one's family, robbing a liquor store or murdering someone for instance. Just because something will benefit one's family does not make it the right thing to do regardless of its effect on everyone else.
Illegal immigrants are key? I don't see how they are vital to anything, or ever could be. Below-minimum-wage illegal employment is key to our economy? More like it's destroying it, if anything. Churches don't pay taxes for many good reasons, such as that they are essentially non-profit organisations for a large part. The church is also doing a service to millions of people and creating good community and jobs.
I don't see how one can propose that it is, in any way, "right" for people to decide when and how to enter the country at their will, take everything that we must all work hard to establish, and then leech from us further by sapping our taxes, job opportunities and quality of life.
People protest labour because they want to be paid more. It is not some romantic ideal or sacrifice. It's actually the opposite of what you suggest, technically.
